Overview
Beast King GoLion (百獣王ゴライオン, Hyakujūō Goraion?) is a Japanese Super robot anime television series. The animation from GoLion was edited and trimmed to create the Lion version of the U.S. Voltron: Defender of the Universe series, with new names and dialogue, as well as several plot changes. An uncut Region 1 DVD containing the first 18 episodes was released on May 27, 2008 as Collection 1. Collection 2 was released in most stores on August 12, 2008.
