Ji Suk Suh

Suh Ji Suk (also known as Seo Ji Suk) (born September 9, 1981) is a South Korean actor. He is well known for his role Park Yoon Hoo in KBS1 167-episode daily drama “Pure in Heart”, aka “Pure 19”, broadcast from May 22, 2006 to January 12, 2007. This drama recorded high TV ratings around 40% and has been broadcast in Southern California, Chicago, New York City, Philadelphia, Seattle and Washington D.C. This drama was also aired in Taiwan in 2007, and in Singapore in 2008.

In addition to TV dramas, he also appeared in two films directed by the renowned South Korean movie director Kim Ki Duk. In the first one “The Bow”, he played a college student involved in a mysterious and dangerous relationship between a grandfather and his granddaughter. The grandfather kidnapped the girl 10 years ago when she was 7 years old. He appeared in the second movie “Time” as a guest star. He also participated in the movie “May I Cry?” in 2006.

Suh Ji Suk fulfilled the mandatory 2-year military service in South Korean army. He was enlisted in Chuncheon 102 Supplement Unit (춘천 102보충대; 春川 102補充隊) on 5/29/2007. After 5 weeks basic training, he was assigned to the 12th Infantry Division (육군 12사단; 陸軍 12師團) located in Inje, Gangwon-do, and he completed his military service on 5/3/2009.

On 5/3/2009, he was discharged from the army, and then had a fan meeting on 5/10.

From October to November, 2009, he filmed an independent film "The Inside Story of Him and Her".
