Overview
Joross Gamboa was born in Daet, Camarines Norte, Philippines. He has two siblings and the eldest of Renato Gamboa and Monette Sanchez

Joross Gamboa gained his popularity when he first appeared in the first season of ABS-CBN's Star Circle Quest. Throughout the competition, he always stood out due to his comedic antics and laid back pretty boy attitude. He was hailed by Lauren Dyogi, one of the judges, as the next leading man.

He was paired up with fellow Star Circle Teen Questor Roxanne Guinoo and their pair was dubbed "JoRox" (a combination of their names). Joross Gamboa successfully entered the final 5 or "Fab 5" of SCQ.
