Junichi Kanemaru

Words can not describe how truly awesome Junichi Kanemaru is. I've heard many voices and have an appreciation for people with good voices, but Junichi's is, without doubt, the best. There's a certain quality to his voice that is both charming and funny. With such a unique and amiable voice, he's easy to fall in love with. His first major role was in 1991 as 14-year-old Hayato Kazami of "Future GPX Cyber Formula" and he has had several other major roles since, including Ginta Suoh (Marmalade Boy), Sonic the Hedgehog (Sonic series), and Ryo Akiyama (Digimon Tamers), among others. With his young-sounding voice, he usually plays characters from 14-16 years old, but has proven he can portray a variety of ages. Having been a voice actor for well over 15 years, his voice hasn't changed much and it hopefully never will.
Not only has he loaned his voice to characters in anime, TV shows, and videos games, but he has also shown talent in music, both composing and singing songs.
Junichi Kanemaru may be most well known for his frequent use of "engrish" lines and phrases in his roles, especially as Sonic the Hedgehog. His pronunciation of English is actually very good, but his accent adds a certain charm that you can't help but smile at.
Overall, Junichi Kanemaru is one of the most lovable voice actors you may ever come across and if you appreciate a good voice, he's hard not to like.
