Junjou Romantica is an epic yaoi that starts with 18 year old Misaki Takahashi whose brother Takahiro's, best friend, Akihiko Usami, promises to tutor Misaki in order to get him into the college of his dreams, Mitsuhashi University. Akihiko who is also known as Usagi-san develops emotions for Misaki and they soon find themselves falling helplessly in love with one another. Usagi-san and Misaki are not the only couple in this series. In later episodes we see Hiroki Kamijo, a man who was rejected by Usagi-san. There to support him duiring this depressing time is Nowaki Kusama. Soon they too become lovers. And last we see Shinobu Takatsuki who claims to be in love with a literature professor at Mitsuhashi called Miyagi Yo, who happens to be Shinobu's sister's ex-husband. Although these three couples are all connected (although they are unaware of it) their stories are completely different. And in the anime, things aren't all smooth sailing for Misaki and Usagi-san. They face many obstacles to get away from all the stress and find a place to love each other in peace. Junjou Romantica, a wonderful yaoi comedy!
