Kaasan, Mom's Life is a very adorable and very funny show that is slightly remicisent of the days of Azumanga Daioh. With no real over-arching plot, it attempts to portray the life of Kaasan (Japanese for mother), who is a comic book artist and the mother to two children, Bunji, the oldest, a boy, and Fumi, a girl. Her husband is a war time photographer and her grandmother lives in the house to help take care of children while Kaasan is working away. This show is a great slice of life show that will give you some more insight into Japanese life for housewives, such as the desire to have children educated at an early age, and the reality of grandparents living in the home and the life of an absentee father (he is either working or really drunk). Though reading this you might think it's a very heavy show, but the tone is light and amazingly fresh.

The voices are dead-on perfect, animation is amazing (especially if you're an Anime Member, you can watch this series in 720p, which is stunningly beautiful!) I recommend this series to anyone who loves the slice of life genre, a great addition!

Although a review would refrain from being so bubbly and optimistic, I recommend this anime to everyone. Whether they come from a different background, I bet each person can relate towards this anime in multiple ways. The construction is flawless, and it's like none other, the music for one keeps the optimistic spirit, and the characters have their own element of humor. The father for one is my favorite because he always appears on the scene either a bad influence or a suck up towards his now spoiled little daughter. This anime reveals a slice of life not only in the families of Japan, but internationally. Daily quandaries found in a household such as early education and enrichment (which they even relate towards the three spirits of Christmas in Charles Dickens if I'm hopefully correct, wanna see a third one) family issues, and time well spent together. I like it all and I hope that watchers to be consider this new favorite anime. I can't understand those crappy ratings out there, this the best of the best.

Kaasan Mom's Life is a really funny anime. Kasaan Mom's Life spans around a mom and her two kids, and of course husband. Well, I personally think this anime relates to myself and my mom, except we're not an anime. It's funny; really, this anime. Watch it if you are interested in humor! It's a must! Seriously!

Kaasan, mean mother in Japanese. Reiko Kamohara is the main character in this series, she being called 'kaasan' or 'o kaasan' by her two little son, Bunji and little daughter, Fumi. Also by her drunk-lover husband.
Let's call kaasan for Kamohara-san.

Kaasan live together with her family, which are: herself, her world-traveler photographer husband, her mysterious-thinking sons (read: Bunji), her daughter Fumi, and her mother (grandma of Bunji and Fumi). Not forget, Jon, stray dogs that picked by Bunji and Kaasan decided to take care of Jon.

Being mother, to have to take care of husband, children, pet are really tough! Moreover taking jobs as mangaka. WOW! Kaasan should have received a medal for it! Living with husband that as-he-want just went to other county doing his jobs, back to home in drunk condition. Who can't ever upset of his act? Having crazy-minded sons, who just give troubles and problems, with his extraordinary attitude. Thanks that there came early-education angel to help kaasan threat Bunji to be good boy.

Ok, those are problems of 'boy isn't us, lady'. But, other girl could made you crazy of their fake-lovely-look! How exactly Fumi learn to earn things she want by saying sweet-word to her dad? Yet, dad can't tackle it! He got tricked! With help of grandma, kaasan helped to manage her child's. ... wait! It have said occupation as mangaka right? Even though kaasan have assistants to give some help finishing manga-colouring, 24 hours must be divided as mother - mangaka - myself (she need sleep!).

Sure tough right? I have said it before...

Ok, let's forget about those hard-time. Let's back to lively-daily-days~
Ah~ It's really joyful to spend time playing with children's, chat about what they've done on (nursery) school, seeing sunset in way back to home, eat dinner together. ~_~ Included family time! Birthday party, eat lunch (bento) while seeing sakura's falling, camping together with neighbors, and other stuff that mostly normal-family in Japan doing.

Anyway, this anime full of specific problem around take care of child, manage them to be good boy, beautiful time with family.
Also about Bunji's crazy thinking, Fumi cheats, Kaasan problem as Mangaka (deadline!), and father's experiences in his journey.

You won't be drop this anime, because the animator put funny face as expressions of each characters face.
I bet you would resisted to have more of this series, because this anime GREAT!!!!

It's a slice of life genre.
And I enjoy seeing this anime because it bring more than mere entertainment!
It has no real plot what-so-ever, but you will we how much an influence a mother can bring to her children.

What i like about this show is that it shows u wot it is like bein a mom. E.G Hardworkin. But also wot i like about this is that its also funny watchin about a mom's life The Animation was gd, the Characters in this was funny, i like the music as well but overall it is a gd anime to watch!

Although I haven't seen the whole show yet, Kaasan-Mom's Life really is pretty cute. It's just a funny series following this sorta frumpy mom and all the crazy stuff her family does. and the humor lingers on the edge of Japanese humor, it's still pretty adorable, and though it may not make you fall out of your seat, but you'll still laughing all the anyway. It also has its serious scenes, where Kaasan isn't being driven insane by her family but rather admiring them during peaceful moments. It's a sweet show and it very worth watching if you need a little laugh or if you're just looking for something with a plot that's easy to understand.

This Series is pretty much my favourite on crunchyroll due to the fact its good humor! The animation for it is pretty basic though but i think it matches quite suitably for this storyline. Its so simple I could probably draw it which is a good thing for fans to do. I haven't finished watching the entire series but enough to comment on it. Anyway, I think everythings good!
