Kamichama Karin

Storyline
I would describe the storyline as surprising, right when you think you've got it figured out they toss in a detail that could turn the whole direction of the storyline a different way. There are parts to the storyline that you know might be revealed later, and then there are the parts you already figured out only to realize later that it was all different.

The storyline itself seems pretty well built, it wasn't "hard-slapped" together last minute or thrown together without much planning. All the details they add in as the story progresses just "fit" with the other parts.

Character Detail
The characters in this anime are wonderfully drawn in high detail and the animations are also of equally high quality. From watching a lot of anime, this is a bit unusual with a high-quality storyline but it's nice to have excellent drawings with an excellent storyline.

Anime Expressions
Unlike most other anime, this show makes extensive use of "Anime Expressions" with perfect timing. Anime Expressions are when the scene and characters are drawn differently to emphasize a certain mood such as solid black circle for the eyes to indicate surprise or the character frozen in a chunk of ice to indicate devastation.

Anime usually sprinkle these throughout each episode but Kamichama Karin makes heavy use of them in all the right places, there are times when almost every few seconds there's another "expression". This largely contributes to the humor of the anime and just keeps you laughing throughout each episode.

What started out was searching for anime's alike to shugo chara and card captor sakura, I was wavering at episode one when I first watch it..
But I end up finishing the whole anime within a night! Really love the characters and romance displayed,
I feel that characters are the most important in an anime of cos the storyline too!
If only season 2 anime was out would the storyline be complete it's such a pity if there's no season 2!
Really like Kazune's character he's really honest w/ his feelings and super cute/hawt!
I like how he just admit his feelings straight out and doesn't denies, it's a really good anime to watch
placing shugo chara, cardcaptor sakura as great animus that should not ever be missed!
The romance are there and not draggy and outright w/ it, not having a anime season 2 is really frustrating!

Watch it and definitely no regrets! (You'll probably be drawn to the anime the way I watched the whole night even though I have a job the next day.... TT I'm dead...) Magical girl, romance, intriguing plot line you got it there!

This series was one of the first animes I watched, and I absolutely enjoyed it. Karin is stupid enough that it's adorable, and not painful. Unlike some animes, they make the heroine very oblivious to all of the romance around her, and that pisses me off. Here, I find it absolutely adorable and enjoyable.

The plot is thought out well, and the series would've gotten more popularity if it had the second season, which further explained the mysteries of the God Rings and Karin's past (as well as introducing my favourite character *********)

The music was always fun to sing along to, and it matches the series well. Cute and catchy enough, but also slightly dark. The music aways goes along well to the mood set of the scene.

The characters were well thought out. I loved everything about them.

I recommend this anime to anyone who loves romance, comedy and drama!

The storyline is really amazing. For example at the beginning they were showing this time from earlier, a battle or somethin. Next they show a girl that's similar to her next to a grave. But there were some confusing parts as well, to me that is.

The music at the beginning was horrible but the music played at the end of each episode was ok, in my opinion that is. The music played during the anime was quite good actually.

The characters are the BEST THING IN THE WHOLE ANIME. They have weird personalities, which makes each and every one of them FUNNY. There's something funny to laugh at at almost every epoisode. TRUST ME WATCH IT IF YOU LIKE FUNNY ANIMES.

The animation was ok but quite boring. Like when they transform into a god? Sure it's pretty and all, not when you watch them transform into the same thing over and over again!

In the end, I didn't understand how the beginning of the anime and the end of the anime connected to each other. Well overall i LOVE this anime, i'll bet this will be one of the best anime i ever watched! But everyone has different opinions lets see if you like or not! (:

This show is about gods and goddesses. If you have watched Percy Jackson, you might say that this is sorta the same storyline, but this anime was made first. I love this show and all the chacters (Himeka-chan's my favorite!) and the whole show. I definently say you should watch this show. You can find it on Youtube or animefreak.com. Enjoy!!!

This story is about a girl called Karin, i think. It started when she had a goddess ring with magical powers in it. She didn't know this until a guy named Kazune grabs her hand and gets suspicsious-like. Then Karin meets another girl who is related to Kazune and starts understanding that Karin has goddess powers. They meet all sorts of people and have to fight creatures. I dont remember but it was such a great anime!!!!!!!!!!!

i dont really like the music cause its sounds kinda deep the,song. ^o^ the characters r cute but i just puted dat rate cause when they grow up on the next seasons they r so cute ^o^ the story is great ^o^ the animation is 2 ^o^ i dont really no wat the overall is but i just put dat,dont call me stupid ^o^ i keep making dat face ^o^ anyway dats all i have 2 say ^o^ 1 more thing WATCH IT!!!!!!!!! ^o^

Story

For the story is awesome i never think of make a story like god power like that!! its out of my mid!!! LOL!!! but i got a little dissappointed .... the story is lack of love i think...(if u dont agree dont mad at me!)

YUP!! THATS IT

This doesn't have much romance in it (it does have a few moments like kissing, but it's more focused on the gods and goddesses), but I'm sure you'll enjoy it all the same. I'm pretty sure, because of its high popularity, you've heard of this anime before and how good it is. Take their word for it. It really is a great anime, and you should really watch it.

The main character, Karin Hanazono is a 12-year-old girl who is quite bad at athletics, academics and well, everything. However, after she unexpectedly discovers that with her ring she could use the goddess Athena and transform, she moves in with Kazune and Himeka Kujou. In order to protect Himeka, who is a half, she has to use Athena's powers to defeat Kirio Karasuma, the one living with Himeka's other half. She gains other rivals and friends on the way. As the series progresses, she develops her powers, discovers romance, and finds out who she really is.

Like always, the characters are really great, though I'm a bit annoyed with Himeka's slow voice. Cute songs, and as you already know, good story plot. The only thing I'm really disappointed in is the lack of episodes in this anime, but we can't have everything we want.

Anyway, watch this now if you have time! It's exciting and really funny too. The first episode is a bit boring, so don't stop watching because of that! I guarantee that the next episodes will be MUCH better!
