To me this anime is great and should be here on Crunchyroll.com, I don't enjoy having to go to other sites for this series. I love this series because it's different from most vampire based anime. It's whacky, a little lacking towards the end but you realize that the story continues in the manga. That's actually how I found out about Chibi Vampire! Anyways I enjoyed this series considering I watched it in a 24 hour period. I do think more should be up about it. Bring Karin (Chibi Vampire) to CRUNCHYROLL ALREADY!

This anime had alot of potiential to be better but wasn't my cup of tea. I love vampires, but this one was kind of pointless. I was bored most of the time watching and didn't get personally attached to the characters. I think her older brother is hot...they should have made the boy she liked more bishounen.

Don't judge this anime by it's appearance!

This anime was one that shocked me. The appearance of the photos on google couldn't help me predict what this anime had in store for me.

This is one comedy, romance anime. The storyline was excellent. It was straight forward and easy to follow. Easy to follow meaning you can understand it easily but not so easy that you can guess the next moves of the characters! I never follow the music in animes except for the opening and ending and I would say I only liked the opening song of this anime. The characters are amazing, every one of them unique and hilarious in their own way. They also seem to fit in with the storyline very nicely. The animation was a bit dull and amazing at the same time. This is afterall a vampire anime. For example, when the biting of a victim occurs, it can make you think it's plain but make you go in aw at the same time. I still think they could've done better on the animation.

The summery of the anime...

Premise: A teenage girl doesn’t fit in with her vampire family or the people at her school, falls in love, and grows up.

Vampire Mythos: In this case, vampires are drawn to particular emotions, and un-vampires exist as well. Un-vampires create blood instead of drinking it.

Audience: Teen girls? They could relate to the high school drama and the implicit sexual struggles. Younger viewers may not realize what’s being implied, but concerned people should watch an episode and judge for themselves.

Complaint: Karin’s reaction to her nose bleeds got really annoying to me after a while. Usui, who had just met her, dealt with them better than she did, even though she’s had this problem for years.

Romance: Karin has a love square- two guys love one girl, and her best friend loves one of the guys. It’s complicated, and leads to some painful moments, particularly for Maki.

Overall: There are both better and worse shows to watch. Karin is definitely not the best vampire anime I’ve ever seen, but I prefer Dracula over Twilight, so keep that in mind. As a high school shoujo story, Karin is actually passable, hence the show’s moderate score.

At first, I was kinda apprehensive about this anime. The story plot was slightly odd when it started out with a young girl named Karin who comes from a family of vampires, but is actually a blood-maker instead of a blood-sucker. She bites others in order to release the extra blood her body produces and doesn't have any vampire qualities at all except for her sharp fangs. But after getting by the first episode, I realized that this anime was really special. It was filled with laughs and friendship, tragedy and heartbreak, and just the perfect amount of love. The relationship that blossoms between Karin and her classmate (also her secret-keeper), Usui, is very heartwarming. I enjoyed watching their progress as they slowly came to realize their feelings for each other. But I also adored Karin's family. Anju, Karin's little sister, and Ren, her older brother, are great assets to the anime and really made this show interesting. Overall, I thought this anime was great. Sure it didn't follow the guidelines of other vampire shows, but it shines in its own way. I'm glad I took the time to watch this show because by the end, I was practically beaming with joy. Chibi Vampire is amazing!

Karin is a show about a non-vampire named Karin. She has to face her life as a non-vampire in a world filled with vampire hunters, humans, and of course, vampires.

As a non-vampire, instead of sucking blood, she produces extra blood. However, when she bites people she gives them extra blood. It turns out in this series, after vampires bite people, their personalities change based on the affinity of the vampire biting them...
Karin's affinity is for depressed people..
and a boy named Kenta seems to be particularly depressed.

You see where that leads you.

The last episode (24) is a terrific ending to the series. I wouldn't want it any longer, it would just drag on.. Anyway, I would suggest this to people who enjoy romances.

This anime is about a girl named Karin Maaka. She lives with her family and is a middle child. Karin and her family are vampires. Everyone in her family expect her needs blood. She has no traits of a vampire. She goes outside during the day and sleeps during the night. She is just like a normal high school student. When a new student Kenta Usui arrives at her school she becomes attracted to him and her blood with flow in her body, while other students are afraid of him. Kenta suspects that Karin is a vampire and finds out that she is in fact, a vampire. After a while, they become good friends. As they grow closer to each other they fall in love.
