Kazuya Kujou

Kujo Kazuya is the third son of a Japanese Imperial soldier. He has two older brothers and a sister, all three of which are distinguished in their own way. He has spent most of his life facing the constant disappointment of his father who considers him to be too soft and spoiled by his mother. To make matters worse he has spent most of his life in the shadow of his older brothers who both excel in their respective arts, as a result he has become very envious of them and has a minor inferiority complex.

After reaching young adulthood he decided he could no longer take living with his family in Japan or endure the military school his father enrolled him in. Instead he decided to run away from his issues by convincing his parents to send him abroad to the renowned Saint Marguerite's Academy in the European country of Saubure. While there he became even more ostracized when the students gave him the nickname of the "dark reaper that comes in the spring" due to his dark eyes and hair which was so different from everyone else.
