Kimikiss Pure Rouge

Hey everyone, in this anime KimiKiss Pure Rogue are five features. Overall, Storyline, Music, Characters and Animation.

The music is very good and this anime has a style in which the ending of the episode starts with the music and then after a few seconds rolls to the credits, which adds more emotion to the ending of the episode. The opening music fits the theme of the anime very well too.

Storyline: The plot is simple enough, three childhood played together until the girl of the trio moves to France. After some years she returns to live with the main character Sanada. They attend the same High school and meet up with new and old friends. As the story goes on, love is introduced and love triangles are formed over feelings the characters develop over time for each other. But the way the story is executed is amazing and many popular themes of animes are revealed. Such as High School Drama, Slice of Life, Comedy, Romance and School Festivals. Imagine the line graph for this anime. At some points its high and at some points its very low. As in other animes such as Clannad After Story, Bad things happen for good things to happen later.

Characters: My favorite part of a anime. You have to love the characters to fully enjoy and treasure the story being told. The characters traits incude the: Average guy, soccer girl/guy, quiet guy, loli girls, smart anti social girl and the comical guy and so many more. The characters in this anime is what makes KimiKiss KimiKiss. The thing I love most about these characters, is the fact that I can relate with them. They pace around, they space out or check their cell phone many times to show stress for the ones they like. Very realistic. From the beginning some characters are portrayed as mysterious or arrogant/etc. But as time goes on, you find out why they are like that. Truly amazing job. (I meant to rate 5 stars but mistakenly clicked 4.5)

Animation: Is also key to make a anime a anime. Some animes seem unrealistic with their animation, but this anime uses simple but also pretty animation. An example was when the main characters were reminising about the past, the dirt Sanada was standing on, was drawn by a crayon. Very creative in my example. KimiKiss also focuses on backround, facial expressions and body posture. They execute it in such a way where you think in ur mind: "Thats how I look when Im nerbous/shy/happy" Truly amazing. The settings such as the moon, or the setting sun are absolutely breath taking.

And finally Overall. FIVE STARS. This is my favorite anime, ranked 2nd to Clannad After Story. In all these animes such as Romance, slice of life or whatnot. There tends to be more girls than guys. In this anime, there were many pairing that can be imagined but only a few can be true. What I like about KimiKiss is, that even though you don't like to see your pairing pair up, the anime makes the characters happy for what they have experienced and move on in life, not letting a small event deny their future. A message that myself needs to take in. Deep down, you feel much joy for the characters and wish them good luck in their future, even though you can't say it to their faces.
