Sana is an energetic 11 year old who is in 6th grade. She's also a child star in a t.v. show named "Kodomo no Omocha" She began her career when she was 5 years old at the Komawari Theater Troupe. She's cheerful and lively but she's also determinated and quick-tempered. She always protect her friends and loves ones too. But in her class, everyday the boys would take over the whole class with their pranks and tricks but Sana isn't backing out ! She plans to deal with Akito Hayama, the "monkey boss" as she calls it. But after a while, she learns that Akito isn't all that of a troublemaker . . . She considers him a rival and a friend.

Akito is a 11 year old, 6th grader who does things the way he likes it. He never really wanted to, but took over the classroom, causing his classmate Sana to complain everyday ! Sana loves to compete and beat him in her contests but she usually loses. Akito may seem calm and "cool" at school but he also has his problems... At home, he has a sister who hates him and wants to kill him and a father who never speaks to him. Having serious family issues, Sana decides to help him. Later on, he always was accompanied by Sana as rivals and friends. He began to have feelings for her but she's too dense to realize.

Me reall~y liked this anime and its story, also plot ! I think this was my first anime ~ I watched it when i was 6 ~ Their loves gradually grows and Sana's reeaallly dense ! But the love was suuper cute and I just loved this anime ! Recommended to people who like cute love-storys !~ But, me didn't like the love-triangle AT ALL !!! I just would have liked it better without Fuka .... Anyways, cute love story and shoujo ! ~ >w<

Sana's a cheerful and active child-star.She is the main character and is truly AWESOME!! But on the other hand,is so dense about love.Akito has been loving her for a long time,but she only thinks of him nothing but a great guy-friend. My opinion is that they are a really good couple.Akito is such a cute guy,he may be cold but he has some good points.Also he's good looking,even the annoying Fuka has fallen for him and some other girls,but SANAXAKITO FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!

kodomo no omocha also known as kodocha is one of the best animes ive seen. Even though the animations seem from an older kind of year the animes great. The plot is really interesting and when you start watching you wont get bored you'll want to keep on watching it till the very end. When i started watching kodocha i couldnt stop watching it was very captivating. its filled with romance, comedy and drama i really loved it. I only wished they continued it. It seems to me 102 epsodes arent enough :b. I really recomend you to watch this anime.

I think I've been watching Kodomo no Omocha since I was 9. It's got great music, a good storyline, funny and lovable characters and just the right blend of romance and comedy. It's my second favorite anime/manga and I definitely recommend it to anyone who's just started to watch anime or needs a laugh. ^^

I have an older brother, 7 years my senior. He introduced me to anime when I was around 12, and what did he give me? Kodomo no Omocha. I fell in love right there. I had always been artistic but had never seen anything like this in America. This series has a style and a grace about it's animation that is only intensified by the comedic romance of it's storyline. I would suggest this for all anime enthusiasts, of all ages!

This anime is the best you'll positively love it.
