Kurapika

Kurapika is a rather traumatized young man. His people possessed a mutation that causes their eyes to turn red when scared, hurt, or angry. This trait led to the eyes being harvested as rather disturbing pieces of art, and has resulted in Kurapika being the last of his people. He seeks to become a Hunter to fulfill a vendetta against the organization that led the massacre. He's trained heavily for the fight to come, and wields a pair of wooden swords connected by a chain with incredible precision.
Kurapika is a rather solemn figure, and somewhat given to introspection and melancholy. He will respond strongly to injustice or evil, however, and he'll occasionally over-react to a situation because of this. In the group, Kurapika often takes on the role of strategist, making plans and plotting traps to snare an opponent. Much like Killua, Kurapika is drawn to Gon's positive outlook and good spirits.
