I failed to note the 'tragedy' tag before I started watching this drama. I thought only "Ariel Lin and Mike He! They're some of my favorites!"
I literally knew almost nothing of the show before I began.
Once the tragic element came out in the story, I began to regret watching it a little. I wondered what else would happen. Would each episode make me cry? Luckily, the writers managed to incorporate a realistic healing into the episode's following tragedy. The coping was believable and as the characters overcame their feelings, so did the viewer.
Aside from the tragic element, I have this to say:
Each person in the cast acted their parts brilliantly. Relationships, reactions, etc were well played.
Clever filming of the plot made the story move at a pleasant pace. They never packed too much into an episode or devoted undue screentime to trivial elements. I do have a slight problem with the plot, though.

What was this about being angels? That element came up rather suddenly and wasn't really explained. I could also talk about the ending. The tendency of the camera to make the objects in the foreground fade away made it difficult to tell what was happening when. Did they die at the end or did Xiao Feng wake up just in time? What about Xiao Bai's appearance?
Music was well used in this drama. The songs were catchy and fit the scenes. Better yet, they knew when to not use music.

The episode after Ah Ken's mom died there was no music that I remember hearing. It gave the episode a feeling that I can't exactly explain. It was very powerful.
Furthermore, this drama is a perfect chance to learn some Mandarin.
Check it out, especially if you're already a fan of any of the actors or actresses in the drama.
Unless you're not willing to cry. But please remember that the issues are dealt with in a way that you should recover before too long.
