Love Get Chu

First review, be gentle :P

So the basic plot behind this is a young girl sets out to become a voice actress 5 years after seeing a show based on a girl attempting to become a figure skater, with a character named coach who she happens to get a fan-girl crush on, and the actors name is Minato. the anime starts with her arriving at a studio, where she will start her journey through this anime.

The plot is of my own memory but this is what i got from it.

The overall show can't actually be given a proper ranking yet, because the show only goes to episode 14 (if you can find 14) out of 25, some sites chose to stop it at 13 because theres a jokingly "The end" followed by the usual "to be continued" but after two years they just came out with episode 14 not long ago so..yea. however based on whats given the anime follows pretty well, and although it does come a little short, it's still a decent watch if you got nothing better to do (i watched the whole thing in 1 sitting)

Storyline (p.s spoiler alerts):
The story line itself is, i guess, a little expected. you got your optimistic protagonist, her friends who support her throughout the entire anime, the love interest, the cool guy who's the "real love interest", the mean girl who's not far behind the cool guy, the usual. however the angle they use it in is of their own "genre" (i like the word so i'll use it :P) where the girl is focused on voice acting, and its not just a starlit dream, although she does tend to daze off to those moments, but the anime has that slice-of-life feel to it, where you need to work hard to achieve your goals, and i really liked that about this anime. she didn't just show up and had miraculous talent, and just because she had strong stomach muscles she didn't auto. debut, she had to work for it, and sometimes anime like this is just as good as the characters who become crazy strong from just yelling and grunting (no offense).

Music:
Not much to say in this area. I did enjoy the music provided when appropriate, it was well suited to the areas it needed to be in my opinion, whereas sometimes the music dragged on a little bit but it still did what it was supposed to do given the right moments in the show.

Characters:
The characters provided were well placed, it sort of gave the feel of what people can be expected at auditions like that, such as the rich kid, the shy kid, the energetic kid, the gender-set actor, and even the over-confident actor. each one filled the role well, and the only issue i had with this was how they'd leave their roles so quickly. it's hard to explain, but the way this anime is placed, there shouldn't be characters ready to help each other, and while that sounds bad, the anime is based on a profession and a girl journey through it. i liked the characters and the variety but not when it came down to some situations.

Animation:
A little old-school but nothing wrong with that. the animation almost reminded me of the original dragon ball series. its not sparkly but its not devoid of color either. not to mention the character art works wonderfully with the animation style itself to really feel like this is the appropriate way to portray the anime (self-justified opinion). i really liked the way the show flowed with this style.

Overall:
As I've said, i rather enjoyed this anime and what it had to offer. the only real downsides is the characters didn't follow their roles all the way through, the anime cut itself short for some reason, and the music could have been better timed (some cases to long) but it was still a fairly good anime and like i said, if you've got nothing better to watch or maybe you like this kinda anime, check it out, I'm sure other people would enjoy it as well.
