Overall it was an interesting anime. I like how the guy is shorter than the girl but they didn't have to make him so girly at times. Though he was adorable ^.^ . The comedy is what kept me watching it though. The storyline was interesting but i feel like they dragged it out to much. Sometimes while watching I just wanted to skip through and hurry up. it felt like it took forever.. But honestly i don't know how a guy could be so dense.. -.- The music... i don't really pay attention to the music in an anime lol .. The characters where good.. sometimes the main guy was a little to girly like a said before and the girl a bit to slow. While watching i huffed or sighed when she didn't make a move LOL. The animation was good. I liked at the important scenes she looked absolutely beautiful and the faces they pulled during the comedy parts always made me at least giggle. It was a good anime.. if you like a good laugh i recommend it.

Lovely Complex is very similiar to my love story, except that im not taller than my crush, yes my crush rejected me more than 2 times, and yes i get emotional, and of course i play love video games, and yes i compare my life with fantasy lives...(let me take a breathe)...I love this anime because I used it to reach my crush, we loved to play games and joke around with our teachers, but we did have some problems with our relationship, he didnt want his friends to find out about it...that made me sad...He did everything to hint me that he wasnt interested, but as naive as i was, i refused to catch the hints, i wanted to be his soul mate, but after my third rejection...i stop compareing my life to Lovely complex...because i know we could never be...me and risa are the same, but very different...TT>TT

I really love how this anime accepts diversity; what with Risa Koizumi being taller than the average height of a girl, Atsushi Otani being shorter than the average height of a boy, Seito Kotobuki being transgender, etc. It's a must-watch! Absolutely adorable, too...I cried.

Outline:

This anime is one that isn't your typical "boy meets girl fall in love" which is one of the reason's i kept watching. it's an anime were they start off in high school and find themselves known as a "All Hanshie Kyon" meaning a comedy group with height difference. The girl name is Risa Koizumi she is 5"8 and the boy Atsushi Otani is 5"1. They start off hating each other because they are always compared as the story goes on they become friends, help each other out. finally after a year and high school Risa finds out that she likes him, she finds difficulty in confessing to him but final does..

** Spoiler Alert!!! click to hide or show**

you will have to watch to find out the rest ;D

Summary:

Overall it isn't your average Love story and it take time for the relationship to develop, the each face reality-related problems and find a way to get threw it.

Genre:

I love the comedy in this you will die laughing! it is the main reason why i kept watching! i strongly recommend it if you have fun laughing alot! the romance is nice and the anime was good enough for me to continue the manga! so i recommend this anime!

Lovely Complex ラブ☆コン

Love☆Com (Short for Lovely Complex) is a romance/comedy/school life/slice of life anime. ^ 3 ^
It was one of the fewer animes that didn't follow the normal typical storyline of of 'girl meets boy and falls in love'. It wasn't 'that' cliche.
Surprisingly, Otani Atsushi who Koizumi Risa falls in love with...is shorter than her! o_o
Risa is a loud, friendly, kind of an odd girl who's extremely tall compared to every other girl in her class. Otani, on the other hand is a really short guy for his age...at only 152-3 cm!!!! Due to their personalities, they argue a lot, but in reality, is quite compatible. Their hobbies are quite similar too. Thus, their journey in high school begins with hilarious things that happen along the way. (EXTREMELY FUNNY!!) ^___^

Anyways, this anime was a really fun one to watch and the graphics were pretty nice too. Weirdly, I cried for some parts of it too. TT TT
It caught my attention pretty earlier on in the episodes and made me want to continue. ; )

If you wanna be in for a laugh, along with components of school setting and romance, you should definitely pick this anime to watch.
Don't worry, there's not gonna be a single moment where you're gonna find this boring! (Cuz, you're gonna be laughing your pants off!!)
One word: AWESOME!

Risa Koizumi, taller than the average girl, and Atsushi Ootani, shorter than the average guy - their constant bickering and comical love-hate relationship is well-known throughout the school. They act similarly and love the same music, and their friendship is full of laughing, shouting at each other, and of course, lots of jokes about one another's height. But when Risa notices her feelings for Ootani growing, she's worried. She doesn't know if he can ever see her as more than a friend. With her friends rooting for her, she struggles to make him see how she feels about him, and that a romantic relationship between a tall girl and a short guy can work. Oblivious Ootani doesn't make things easy for her, but she stubbornly perseveres in her own unconventional way, determined for her feelings to get through to him, and finally be returned. If only she could do it without driving herself and everyone else crazy in the process...

I really love this anime... I wish that it has second season you should watch it.. :)

At 5' 7", Risa Koizumi is the tallest girl in her 10th grade class. Meanwhile, 5' 1" Atsushi Otani is the shortest boy in school. When this mismatched pair decides to help each other find dates, they're perplexed when their efforts only result in their classmates thinking that they're the couple in love.

Love*Com is not about finding love on the Internet, but is an abbreviation of its full title, "Lovely Complex," referring to Risa and Atsushi's complex about their heights. This romantic comedy follows the two friends as they deal with people's perceptions of their 'height problems'.

For example, Risa has a crush on Suzuki, a tall but shy boy in her class. Atsushi is interested in Chiharu, Risa's close friend. When the two try to set up a double date to pair up with their objects of affection, Risa and Atsushi inadvertently have so much fun together, the date results in Suzuki and Chiharu emerging as a couple instead.

With their classmates, friends and teachers all thinking that they're sweet on each other, will Risa and Atsushi ever find the boyfriend / girlfriend of their dreams?

This movie is about a tall girl named Risa and a short guy named Otani.. At first, they always quarrel and fight..
But as time passed by, Risa discovered that she actually fell in love with Otani... She tried to hide it until she had the courage to tell it and confess to Otani..
When she confessed, Otani can't stop thinking.. And BTW Risa was rejected twice but still she didn't give up easily.. Well there was one time she almost gave up but with the help of her Best friend Nobu, she had the strength to try hard and over and over again..
They became couples and many storms went through their relationship.. But even though these storms went through them, they still were strong and fighting for their love..

THIS anime made me cry a lot of times.. If you would like to watch then GO FOR IT.. I'm sure you would love it like I did..

feel good factor in this

Most importantly, the two character share a natural chemistry which makes them believable not just as good friends, but as a compatible couple too. While much romantic comedy begins with the ‘bolt of lightning' scenario where two random individuals meet and are drawn to each other for some inexplicable reason, LoveCom portrays something far more realistic; Risa and Otani have known each other for a while, get along in an ordinary sense of the word, and actually manage to rub each other the wrong way on many occasions (to great comedic effect). Their compatibility thus springs from the ordinary things they share as friends, and from the realisation that they feel the most comfortable with themselves when in each other's company. The ultimate effect is heart-warming without being saccharine.

With a unique premise and such fun, well-developed protagonists, LoveCom is not just an upbeat story with a few comedic highlights, but a show that effortlessly evades the usual banality of the romcom genre to outshine almost anything else on offer. If you happen to be looking for a generous helping of the feel-good factor but want to avoid the side-order of stale cheese, then look no further than LoveCom.
