This anime is about a group of four girls that are amateurs but lively singers. Mizuki and Ruri later joins the four of them. They're the Third Generation Idols. The girls are Mizuki Sakakai, Kotoha Kiryuu, Mai Nonomiya, Miu Nekoya, Hina Hojo, and Ruri Fujisawa.
Mizuki has purple hair and she is known as "The Princess of Songs" on the streets. She plays the guitar and sings Hateshi no Nai Sora.
Ruri is the younger sister of Tomohiro, one of the managers.
Kotoha is a shy girl with long black hair.
Mai is short and has mild temper, she has been acting for a while before she joined the group.
Miu is a slow girl and she often imitates cats' meow.
Hina is the girl with blue hair. She has two elder sisters that are in the First Generation Idols, named China and Mina.
