MARS

I thoroughly enjoyed this drama. It was very different from the typical taiwanese dramas that featured a quiet shy girl and a really awesome gangster bad boy or a really smart guy with a really dumb and useless girl. The characters in this drama (portrayed by Da S and Zai Zai) were beyond the stereotypical drama characters and they showed a depth that made me hold my breath as i submerged myself deeper into their dark and almost unfathomable characters. The main characters had a typical dark and mysterious past that wounds them but their past were very unique and different that the normal taiwanese drama. The psychological problems were portrayed very well in this story and the plotline outlining them was amazing.

During this drama you can truly see the change in the characters and it is like you are actually in the television walking with them on this journey. Many scripts have the main characters extermely awkward with each other until someone confesses their love. Then the characters in the story immediately become gungho and almost completely at ease with each other. This is very unrealistic and it doesnt quite suit my appetite in a drama. This is why i like Mars. You can see the character of Da S getting more and more comfortable with males as well as with the character portrayed by Zai Zai. You can experience and witness the changes between the relation ships and also the characters learning to open up to each other. They each slowly face their inner and deep fears with a realistic and unbelieveable quality to it.


There is much more that i love and a few things i didnt quite enjoy about Mars but these are my main points and MY TWO CENTS!

Overall i think Mars was a great drama and i recommend it to an audience who is tired of the typical hapy go lucky school girl drama and want to dive into something a bit darker and menacing.

MARS MARS MARS... I used to dislike Taiwanese dramas, because I found them immature and not that serious at times.
But then came MARS and became one of my favorite dramas ever.

It's a serious drama about a bad guy and a good innocent girl who both are carrying bad memories from their past life, and together they try to help each other to overcome the past. At the beginning you have absolutely no clue what's wrong or what happened to both of them, but gradually the story develops and reveals all the secrets.

It's a very deep drama. The trauma both of them had to put up with was horrific. But together as they try to understand and help each other, they also fall in love. It only proves that Love makes miracles, and is able to mend the biggest open wounds and take away the damage.

I feel that the actors did a pretty good job. They where both fit for their roles. The chemistry between them was great! You could really feel how much they cared for each other. And again, this is one of those dramas you just don't get annoyed or irritated by. I was even surprised a few times because things I didn't expect would happen, actually happened.

*Not trying to spoil anything, but let's say an annoying ex appeared and of course tried the innocent-girl-act and got a punch right in the face! And I went all : "O__O WAY TO GO!! YAAAY!!!"

Long-story-short: A MUST WATCH DRAMA!

It caught my attention because of Viz Zhou and Barbie.
This drama series is definitely a MUST-watch!!
As the story unravels, the viewer can get more deep into it.
It has a lot of mystery and strong feelings that can chill you.
Zai Zai and Barbie are just exceptional in their roles of
Chen Ling and Qi Luo respectively.
Don't miss this out!!! *thumbs up*

I have watch MARS twice already...it's weird right..hehehe...But If I really really like the drama i usually watch it twice..and Mars is one them..The stroryline is difinitely good. There are a lot of mysteries in this drama especially vic zhou's character and Barbie has done an outstanding job in portraying her role as qi luo...I believe that fans of vic and barbie will be extremely pleased and satisfied with it.
