Kraftwerk elements, house elements, funk elements, punk elements, rock elements, and so on... which is very similar to new wave scene in the '80s time.It's very intersting and inovating scene at the moment.
Mad Skippers would like to try to express the new sound from Tokyo as this new wave concept for the future.

Joujouka rocks in style...featuring a fresh serving of some serious ranging tuff electro rock grooves from the diverse and incredible talents of Numanoid (aka Dj Tsuyoshi) & Funky Gong & New Vocalist LYOKI

Joujouka continues to surprise and excites fans around the world not limited to the electronic scene but also in rock and various art scenes.

Dj Tsuyoshi's side project, Joujouka is an intriguing and exciting blend of many styles, influences and genres which produce something unique and fresh.
Formed in 1998, their debut album was an amazing mix of techno, break beat with a strong psychedelic kick, which saw them catapulting right into the worldwide arena with their original members in London, they immediately started to tour major music centers including Tokyo, London, and Paris,Bali,Korea & China( Indonesia )
They didn't waste any time before releasing their first album 'Aoki ...." in Japan in December of the same year.
Appearances in major outdoor festivals such as Fuji Rock Festival and Oslo's Alavika Festival, and sharing stages with electronic icons such as System 7 and X-Dream, followed.
They also released their album 'New Asians' in Australia on Psy-Harmonics and toured the country in 2003
Joujouka continues to surprise and excite fans around the world not limited to the electronic scene but also in rock and various art scenes. As their newest album, "Never Look Back" starts circulating and stirring up cross-genres across the world.
"Never Look back" released in 2007/8 in Indonesia , Australia and many more countries, soon also in China.
We await what they have in store to surprise us next!!!!
