Makoto Kashino

A handsome blond haired boy, one of the Sweet Princes; he specializes in Chocolate. He wants to become a Pattisiere because of his Uncle who is a Chocolatier. He first appears as a cynical person with a bad temper and is very sensitive about his height. Later on he is shown to be dishonest with his feelings as well and helps save Ichigo. Highly intelligent he has no trouble making it as one of the highest ranked students in his class a position he intends to maintain due to the agreement he has with his parents. If he fails to meet this agreement, he will have to abandon his dreams and become a doctor just like his parents. He has a elder sister and a rather poor relationship with his parents due to them always being busy with their Hospital and other work. It is likely that he has strong romantic feelings for Ichigo but he would never admit it himself; nor to her.

His Sweets Spirit is Chocolat, shares a room with Hanabusa, and is long term friends with Andou.

As the story progresses, Kashino displays strong feelings toward Ichigo despite their constant bickering. Kashino often shows jealousy whenever other boys (e.g. Hanabusa or Ricardo) express interest in Ichigo or vice versa.
