Megamasso was formed by leader Ryohei(ex-Ayabie). He put newer musicians into the lineup in hopes to produce a new fresh sound. The original lineup included Inzargi(Vo), Ryohei(Gt), Gou(Ba), and Yuta(Dr).

They released their first single Dec. 6th 2007. Following the single's release came their first live held at Shibuya O-West, and was also the live that was filmed for their first live DVD.

Shortly after (June 9th), drummer Yuta leaves, as he did not like Megamasso's style of music

Also, Ryohei also produces the band Watashime besides Megamasso.
