Born in Lipa City, Batangas, Philippines but raised in Brooklyn, New York. Mike Swift earned a name in Brooklyn for being the first Filipino to establish a record label in the states, Head Bop Music (www.headbop.com) established in 1998. Through solo mixtape projects" Pinoy's Finest mixtape volume 1" and "Fire and Wind" he attracted the attention of a few publications, and Filipino hip hop fans. Fluent in both English and Tagalog, he is on the way of accomplishing his goals to be a well respected artist in the United States and the Philippines. His first full length cd is entitled "Legendary" (a double cd for translations in English and Tagalog). E-Real Records also found a way to connect him with Suge Knight of Death Row Records, the one behind the rise of rap artists Snoop Doggy Dogg. He has made appearances in television, featured in magazines, and rapidly gaining a following worldwide.
