Fujiko Fujio (藤子不二雄, Fujiko Fujio?) was a penname of a manga writing duo formed by two Japanese cartoonists. Their real names are Hiroshi Fujimoto (藤本 弘, Fujimoto Hiroshi?) (m: 1933-1996) and Motoo Abiko (安孫子 素雄, Abiko Motoo ?) (m: 1934-). They dissolved the duo in 1987, but in this article, incidents after that are also mentioned.
Together and separately, they have won many awards. They are best-known for creating the popular and long-running series Doraemon, the main character of which is officially recognized as a cultural icon of Japan.

It all began when three friends of the SF Club: Sorao, Miki and Wootan, set out to find a ghost and ended up discovering the dilapidated space ship of Mojacko and his robot, Donnoh, that had crashed to Earth.
The adventure begins instantly as our three heroes are catapulted to the moon accompanied by fun loving Mojacko and his out-moded but super smart robot, Donnoh. With the help of Mojacko's "air-pills," our three Earth kids find they can have all sorts of wild adventures and run and play on the airless surface of the moon -- just as easily as they can in the control of their own backyards on Earth!
