Mahou Sensei Negima, Negima!? for short, is about a young magician. Negi Springfield, a ten year old magician is sent to Japan to teach at Mahora, an all girls academy. While there the classical harem plot takes a dramatic turn as a vampire strikes on the night of a full moon. For a while he searches for this vampire who attacked and eventually befriends her. Later in the story they travel to Kyoko where a student who turned out to be a princess is captured and the vampire becomes the one to save her. Negi then asks her to teach him. Overall it was a great anime with few fillers and a lot of comic relief i give it a 4.5 overall

I've seen both of the series and, they're both alright. They do a good depiction of the characters in each series. My problem is neither follows the storyline of the manga. The first show was fairly accurate for the first 20 episodes or so. Then it just goes way left field. The second series strays far from Negima reality and focus's more on showing off the girls. I wish they would create yet another series that is true to the Manga. Also it would go far past the beginning of the story. It would tell the stories of the school festival, the trip to the magic world, the Nagi cup in the magical world, and all the girls different adventures in the magical world. I know they have an OVA that covers so of the magical world plot but, their are only 3 episodes so far. With only 3 episodes and a month between them I can't expect to much from them.
In conclusion, watch the series because they are no doubt entertaining. Though, if you want a true Negima experience read the manga.

Negi Springfield is an (almost) 10-year-old Welsh boy genius who's not only already graduated from college but is also a wizard adept in wind-related magic. As part of his training to eventually become a Magister Magi, Negi must teach a class at the massive all-girl Mahora Academy without revealing his magical ability. Though he looks forward to the opportunity, Negi's in for more than he bargained for when he's assigned to a class of 30 middle school oddballs, including several who find him irresistibly cute. His biggest concern amongst them is Asuna Kagurazaka, a combative, athletic red-headed firebrand with whom he entirely gets off on the wrong foot. Things get even more complicated when he must temporary share a dorm room with her and her roommate, but that's nothing compared to the trouble which could arise when she discovers his wizardly nature or the problems that the arrival of a talking ermine could cause.

Since I saw all 52 episodes of both Negimas, I was surprisingly startled.
For starters, the animation is coming from Paniponi Dash, or vise-versa; and it still is the most amazing thing ever!
The music reminds me of certain other animes I Am fond of. Have you ever listen to the music in the comedic segments of the anime? They's like very funny off the half-pipe... in a good way.
Although the characters are more cute and bubbly than their Season One stylings, it is still pretty good.
The storyline... I just didn't get it. Who ever heard of a (Spoiler Alert)? The last season was more convincing; since they butchered the First Season Storylines, and went with the manga type. It has improved, but not good enough.
Overall: It is almost perfect. I give it a 9 for trying.
