Ninja Scroll TV

I remember seeing the original classic feature-length anime movie of this on DVD way back & ages ago now long before the anime series was ever released & really enjoying it, so when I eventually got around to buying the complete collection limited edition tin boxset on DVD containing all 13 episodes a few months ago I knew I wasn't gonna be dissappointed.

From the word go with the very first episode & it's cooler than cool all-music only opening theme, I was hooked and thought it was a very decent adaptation of the movie in both stand-alone storyline & characters, including it's whole animation style & general design, look and feel as a whole.

The main characters Jubei (Mr main character powerful Ninja) & village priestess Shigure work well together.

If you're a fan of the original movie, then be sure to give the anime a go at some point.

I can assure you that you won't be dissappointed in the slightest with it.
