I love Japan, and I love wolves. So or me, this game was PERFECT!

Okami is Japanese for "Wolf" and it is perfect for the title of this game. In the game, you're a wolf. Personally, I don't think that the game was all that clear about weather or not you were a wolf "God" or just the re-incarnation of one, but you do get powers. You aren't just some ordinary wolf, so don't fret. You get more powers as the game goes on, too. and if you want, you can bark at people, and chase them! ^_^

So, back to the story line; You're a wolf with powers. I have the PlayStation 2 version. The powers are pretty cool. Basically, you use your controller to "Draw" different things. For example: the first power you get, is to draw. just draw. And no, you don't have to be good at drawing for this game. Trust me, I'm a horrible artist! XD There are circles, lines, and the hardest: a crescent moon. But as you get into the game, you can unlock more powers! It's pretty cool, and It's tons of fun to be a wolf.

Anyways, I'd recommend this game to anyone who isn't afraid of demons, because that's what you're fighting! This game is challenging, fun, has a great storyline, and will entertain you until you finish it! Then it will entertain you again when you want to re-play it! (Like I am right now!) The music is fantastic too. You can really see the Japanese culture here. The only thing I'd ding it on, is the graphics. I'm just speaking for myself here, but the graphics are a little unusual. At times, it gets annoying, but that might be just the old TV I was using for it (The brightness on that TV SUCKS!) -_- The graphics, as I'm sure you'll notice on the previews and pictures, is based on a painting theme. It looks like someone drew the whole game, by paintbrush! (Which is how you draw, once again NOT HARD! Other than that, the game is fantastic!

I'd HIGHLY recommend this game to anyone who likes wolves and stuff! Japan too! ^_^

Some of you guys out there are saying that Okami has horrible controls, boring fighting and unresponsive drawing. I accept your opinion on this matter but maybe you haven't seen Okami's full form yet. Okami has lots more to offer you. Okay, maybe you haven't met Ninetails yet (who, in my opinion, is the most KICK-ASS boss in this whole game), Lechku and Nechku or Blight, but just taking one look at the beautiful artwork will affect you in a positive way in one way or another. The feeding of animals add to the good nature of Okami, and the history of Japan and it's culture is released into Okami instantly.

Just taking a walk along North Ryoshima Coast is appealing to all of us, the islands in the water and the tale of the Whirlpool Galaxy make it seem just that little bit more magical. Okami has been praised so much, and its fan-base is growing. Groups on Facebook have started and fan videos are up on Youtube.

The controls are easy to use and the style of the game suitably fits the Wii Remote. Many of you don't know how to draw a straight line? Pffft. It's easy. Also, I'm sure that you know that holding Z down while drawing a line makes it straight? *wink wink nudge nudge* Also, I bet you haven't noticed the pot of ink slowly draining away in the top-right hand corner of the screen . The fighting is immense, as you enter a scroll and space warps around you. Attacks are never boring, having two or more enemies is even cooler! The storyline is very real, as having romance and suspension in Okami is what makes it special. So, go out there and buy Okami! And Okamiden!
