One Fine Day

This is a really good movie. Don't focus on what negativity others have to say about it. Watch it for yourself and you shouldn't be disappointed. I really enjoyed this movie. There's twists and turns to the plot and the acting is good. Sometimes, actors are criticized for their acting skills when actually, some people just don't enjoy or understand the character they are playing. They can only pretend to be who the writer's want them to be, and if that doesn't go in favor to certain viewers, it's not really the actor's fault. They are only doing what they're told to do and portray the role given to them.

There is an overload of unnecessary drama in this show. The characters behave irrationally and the plot just seems to drag throughout most of the series. Some things are written into the story that end up being completely ignored or unresolved.

The show started off extremely cheesy with a 90s-Jackie-Chan-style action scene that continued throughout the episode - which was all forgotten by the introduction of the female lead and the constant bickering among the characters.

Seriously, everything I hoped would happen did not. I guess if you like that kind of thing, give it a try. I just felt this show was running in endless circles. Of course I had to finish it, however. I think the story had some potential, but the execution was not good at all.

Overall, I am disappointed (and he was so good in Coffee Prince!).

I watch this series in just under 2 days, pretty crazy but thats how much free time i got o.O The story has many unrevealed twists and lies in almost each episode. Something new emerges about someone or something which i like. The characters were perfect in my opinion. Splendid acting. As fine and good the music was i just thought it was played a tad bit too much, especially with only like 2 tracks really. I could say it got annoying at times but that didn't stop me from watching. I like how it played out. One of those romances where it wasn't intended but then gradually came to know and accept it. The story starts off with Gun livin in australia only thinking about saving hyo-joo by getting her the money to have a surgery for her heart defect. After an attempted fail to give her one, he decides to go back to Korea where he suddenly realizes his stepbrother found his long last childhood sister that is now rich and was going to take advantage and swindler her to save hyo-joo it seemed at first, but there was more than to the eye. Also to find out the truth and lies behind his parents death. But things takes a turn after meeting his sister living a corrupt hell life from a abusive half-brother. Gun always thought she was happy being all filthy rich, but i guess even rich people have issues XO He soons realizes new feelings for his "sister" (not blood tied) and comes to love her as a woman as the story progresses but he keeps it secret trying to tell himself that he is her brother. I've watched this drama at least 11 times, and needless to say I always find something new with each viewing; maybe because whoever has edited this drama and change the storyline making it more interesting from time to time; but too much can be just that too much! While I appreciate the simplicity of the editor's attempt to make the dialog more plausible, I am somehow distracted by the contridiction of the language, particularly when conveying the emotions between the chracters Gun and Ha-neul; sometimes it's best to leave well enough alone. With this being said..thank you for the translations...but please don't play with the orginal emotions conveyed by the actors from its original airing of this wonderful drama. I understand that maybe they felt the need to update the content (language) to fit today's audience, but now it seems that the original script has been lost in the transition. The subtitles don't exactly match what it being conveyed from scene to scene. You shouldn' t tamper with the writers original script. Subtitles and captions should remain the same. Still this is a wonderful drama and it warrant serious review......not to mention the star power by one of my favorite actors Gong Ji Cheol (Gong Yoo). I give it a (5) five star rating which is well deserved.

I decided to watch this drama out of pure boredom. I'm happy i did because it fare exceded my expectations. The first episode pulls you in with action. The second episode pulls you in with sadness and longing. The rest of the show continues on that course. There are times that you'll cry (trust me you'll cry) then there are times you will be annoyed by some of the side and main characters. In the end this drama makes you really question love (don't all dramas) but seriously this drama will make you question the love of family and the love of a brother and sister.
