Well going off of the original topic I would have to say that Nami would be better for Luffy. HOWEVER you guys aren't taking into account that this is a SHONEN manga/anime and relationships are overlooked relatively frequently. But if I were to pick couple pairings my list would go something like this: Luffy; Boa Zoro: Tashigi (whom I suspect is his childhood friend with amnesia) Sanji: Nami Usopp: Kara (or whatever her name was) Franky: Robin Chopper: some reindeer chick Brook: Laboooooon

Settling down and having a family just isn't him, and it isn't the spirit of One Piece either. He's all about going out and having adventures, and certainly isn't looking for a girl. On another note, anyone notice how Luffy was completely unaffected by Hancock's beauty (and he even saw her naked!), but got a nosebleed from Nami's "Happiness Love Punch" back in Arabasta?
