One Pound Gospel

It's been a while since I've watched this but it was such an amazing drama. It kinda left me speechless in a way where I could critique some things...but overall if you just don't like boxing, but you like romance stories, I think this would be an okay drama for you to watch. the only thing is would be that just watching the very beginning, you may think, "what the heck am i watching?!" But that's where you could be wrong. If you continue to watch, it's actually quite entertaining. I really enjoyed this drama, but I thought it could be better.

For me. this story is very cheerful, pure and full of morale. The light plot makes the story can be easily enjoyed by all people from various types of background. It does tells us that in whatever things that we are into, there are some obstacles that we have to go through either it is about hobby, love, work, it can be anything. And also it teaches us that to achieve something in life, we must learn to sacrifice something. In this case, Hatanaka Kousaku had to sacrifies his likeness to eat to become a champion in the boxing arena while Sister Angela had to make a difficult choice in order to achieve her love. I also like the characters like the Mukoda Gym members, they are always there to support their friends dreams. And they are not a quitter. For the main character, Hatanaka Kousaku, I love love love his cheerful, innocent and pure character. He is just like Monkey D. Luffy from One Piece ! I rate this drama as 5 stars.

As for the acting, everybody does a good job especially Kame. Well, he is a great actor and really commit to his character. kyaaaaah! Love him !

The soundtrack is really nice and fits into the storyline. And to make it nicer, the theme song is by KAT-TUN, entitled LIPS

Overall: An extreemly comedic drama. Not the absolute best, but deffinately worth the watch.
Storyline: It's about a gluttonous young boxer who falls in love with a young idealistic nun. The story line is funny and original if I do say so myself. I'll never forget Sister Angela!
Music: Not particularly memerable. (I don't remember what I thought of it).
Characters: Sister Angela and Kosaku are so cute.
Acting: Kame did fantastic in this drama. He's truely a great actor. This was the first drama I've seen Kuroki Meisa in and I look forward to seeing her again.
