In the hands of Manny Pacquiao (Jericho Rosales) lies the glory of an entire nation. With each victory he claims he redeems the pride and honor of the Filipino race. However, his road to glory is not short and easy. Even as a young boy, he had to learn to overcome poverty and family problems to become the champion that he was destined to be. Each time he removes his boxing gloves, the scars of his hands are reminders of the physical and emotional struggles he had to go through. Carrying an entire nation on your shoulders is not an easy thing to do. But even the greatest of champions fall, and Pacquiao is no exception. In the worst of his defeats, he begins to question if the pain is worth it at all. With the help of his wife, Jinkee (Bea Alonzo), Pacquiao tries to find his way back to the top.
