fabulous attires !!!!!!!!!!! No doubt the leafe knights can really protect himeno !!!!!
another thing is himeno's personality's eccentric. If i were the one to choose i like sasame for himeno rather than sasame-choosing takako. But that's how it goes. Hayate's also deserving for himeno, of course!!!!

If you like fairy tales, such as Snow White and Cinderella (both of which the storyline seems to be based off) and pretty bishie boys to watch than you are in for a treat with this show. Pretear anime is an adaptation of the manga series, though the manga was a little more drama filled with less comedy. Mostly the anime keeps to the storyline but changes many details throughout. The anime has a female lead (Himeno) and seven male leads (though you really only have two of those men as real leads), and you follow their story throughout the anime, with a little back story thrown in for the main side female lead.

It starts out with your typical Cinderella like story, young girl's Dad marries into rich family with an (supposedly) evil Step mom, and horrible Step-sisters. Than your bishies (reminded of snow whites dwarfs with these guys but much better looking) and your poor Cinderella meet, and suddenly Cinderella is the savior of the world with awesome outfits for each battle. You get to see her combine herself with all but one of the characters throughout the anime, and that is because in the manga when she combines with Shin it kills him. That would be a little to much drama for this show, which takes it a little more light hearted through out, but if you watch the opening credits you can see her outfit with that she would wear if she combined with Shin.

Each of the seven bishies (dwarfs) have special powers such as wind, fire, water, light, and so on. And when Himeno (the female lead) combines with the bishies she can manifest those powers to destroy the evil demon larva that is threatening the leafe (green life which supports all life). One of the dwarfs personalities is changed from manga to anime, Sasame, in the manga he is a very light hearted flirt but in the anime he has darkness and one other change that I can't say cause it would ruin it :P

At the end of the anime you have an epic battle and a famous scene from Snow White, and all the ending is completely tied up with no loose strings as long as you watch through the credits. Overall if you are looking for something light to watch with easy to follow characters and an adaptation of Disney stories for anime than you will enjoy this. Interesting romances play through out, and side characters add enjoyable moments to the story as well.

Pretear (love it!!!)

Over all in think it's an outstanding show. A little better ending and I would die for it. I'm kinda sad that it was only 13 episodes. Awww man. But in the end I loved it!!!! Himeno and hayate were the cutesy couple I've seen yet. But the story line is very good. I too have felt alone and unloved but I got help and got over it. After all I have to left to sat is bravo bravo!!

Following the story of the original Snow White and the Seven Dwarves, a young girl named Himeno is surprisingly greeted by the seven Leafe Knights who come to her for aid in saving their beloved world from the Princess of Disaster. She acts as the Pretear, a powerful link between her and one of her knights in order to gain their power and protection. Together, they save the world from demons who threaten to suck the life out of everything. Overall, I felt that this anime turned out pretty good. Although the story was slightly corny and cheesy, it was still a heartwarming tale about love and forgiveness. The one thing that really shocked me was the characters. They were all quite believable and realistic, especially Sasame, one of my favorite Knights of all (but the others were just as cool!). But the one thing I would criticize about this anime was its lack of fluidity. Sure, it was filled with romance, but the development of the romance between Himeno and Hayate seemed too abrupt. However, even though it was pretty short, I still enjoyed watching Pretear and I know that others will too.
