Of all the main pilots of the five Gundams, Quatre is the most well adjusted of them all, displaying a humble and kind hearted personality that one wouldn’t expect from the pilot of Gundam Sandrock. He is also a pacifist, unwilling to kill unless absolutely necessary. While this may make him appear to be a poor choice to pilot a Gundam, he displays incredible endurance and even claims to have ESP of sorts, though this is something that has yet to be proven.
Though he may come off as a highly privileged youth, Quatre proved himself to be a capable leader amongst the Maganac Corps. It was for these abilities that he was chosen to be the 4th Gundam pilot to participate in Operation Meteor, much to the dismay of his father. Though he wishes for nothing more than peace amongst the colonies, he takes up the role as the pilot of Sandrock to fight the tyranny of the United Earth Sphere Alliance.
