Ratchet and Clank Universe
Blowing up anything and everything in sight with little gore content and has a point to it all with its simple yet original storyline. It is somewhat serious but mostly comical, has a wide range of powerful and imaginative weapons, and though it does come off a little dated, it keeps improving itself throughout the series with new angles that are obvious but skill payoff. The whole intergalactic future theme has been done to death, but this take on it gives a whole new feel to it.
