Read Or Die

R.O.D (Read or Die) is an an 3-4 episode anime OVA series, though i like to think of it as a movie with all of them combined together. Yomiko Readman may appear to be a just a quiet, substitute teacher with a gigantic collection of books, but Yomiko is not just any bookworm. She is also a secret agent working for the Royal British Library's Division of Special Operations. She even has the super power of manipulating paper, its sounds dumb at first but once you see what she can do its quite amazing. The animation is quite good and the English voice acting is average. Yomiko is an interesting character in R.O.D, her obsession for books is odd and especially the fact that she can read with her eyes closed. She has her funny moments. Either way R.O.D is a highly recommended anime OVA. Unfortunately it seems to feel a little to short, making you want the DVD to have more episodes then just 3... but thats just a minor problem.
