Overview
Rickert is a young boy that boasts a very inquisitive mind and an outgoing innocent personality that has allowed him to carve out a niche for himself in the Band of the Hawk. In combat he mostly stays away from the front lines and has been known to use a short sword and crossbow at different points. His main role however is to help as a kind of medic, oftentimes assisting with the bandaging and nursing of injured soldiers. Like many members of the Hawks his reasons for joining are never made completely clear but against all odds they have become his less his comrades and more his family.

After the events at the conclusion of Berserk Rickert goes to live with the blacksmith Godo becoming his apprentice.
