Overview
One of the original three members of the Devil Bats, Kurita is the conscience of the football club. Despite the constant bickering by Hiruma, he is always calm and gentle. However, once he stands on the football field, he becomes a powerful guardian of the Devil Bats, utilizing his physical size and strength fully. He is the strongest person in the Devil Bats, lifting 160 kg (350 lbs), which is the highest record of the entire high school students in Tokyo Metropolitan area. His position is center (line) and his jersey number is 77.

The heart and soul of the football team, Kurita is well known for both his kindness and the moral support he offers the rest of his teammates, even if Hiruma often gives him a hard time.
