the series was a gem, it was absolutely beautiful. except for the part when everything went to hell but, if not for the twist in the story this anime would not be so great.

The ONA came out in 2005 and the TV one came out in 07 according to ANN. So that would make the TV one a retelling of the OVA. "The ONA is a collection of the endings". A I'm pretty sure theres meant to be 6 eps.but only seen 1 : (

The anime is amazing. I think one of the reasons that people don't like it is because it's based off real life situations or they can't relate to it. A lot of anime is sad so that's not really new. But Kotonoha was pretty crazy....

I hate the ending too. In my opinion Katsura is insane! how can she put Makoto's body in a gym bag and show him to Sekai? how can she kill Sekai, open her tummy just to make sure Sekai isn't pregnant? ugh
