The series also looks at the trials and travails of other students. Harima Kenji also has relationships with Yakumo Tsukamoto and Eri Sawachika. The series also features the activities of Mikoto Suou, Akira Takano, Haruki Hanai, Kyousuke Imadori, Karen Ichijou, Harry MacKenzie, Lala Gonzalez, Masakazu Togo, Sarah Adiemus, and others. School Rumble combines comedy with romance and drama.

Haruki Hanai--Is a class representative. He frequently classes and competes with Harima Kenji, He runs a dojo with Mikoto Suou. He has a crush on Yakumo Tsukamoto which goes unrequited.

Kyousuke Imadori--Has crushes on Mikoto Suou and Lala Gonzalez. They both attack him when he goes too far but he doesn't seem to learn from those experiences.

Karen Ichijou--Is extremely strongl. She has a crush on Kyousuke Imadori. She is both a friend and competor with Lala Gonzalez. They are both on the school's wrestling team.


Lala Gonzalez--Comes from Mexico with the intention of wrestling in Japan. She has a hot temper and resorts to violence when angered.

Harry MacKenzie and Masakazu Togo--are from the United States.

Sarah Adiemus--Is a friend of Yakumo Tsukamoto. She appears as a nun on occasion.
