Lee Seung Ki (born on January 13, 1987) is a K-pop singer. In 2004 at the age of 17, he made his music debut with "Because You're My Girl". The ballad was an instant success and created a "liking older women" syndrome in South Korea. Lee Seung-gi has a low and powerful tone of voice that appeals to many music lovers. In the 2004 MBC Music Awards, he won the "Best New Artist" award. He also won the award for "Best Male Artist" in the 2005 MKMF Awards with his song "White lie" from his 4th album Story of Separation. He is also a regular guest in the variety show X-man as well as starring in dramas such as the Famous Princesses and Shining Inheritance. He is currently an MC alongside Kang Ho Dong on the variety show, Strong Heart and is a regular on 1 Night 2 Days (KBS wild variety program).
