This is/was probably the best samurai anime ever made. If all other samurai anime are "blood straight from the veins", this anime is "dried blood with pieces of flesh in a frying pan" in comparison.

Yes this is indeed one of the sickest animes i've seen, not just in terms of gore but also pretty much in every sense, and yes i want to see that Fujiki vs blind dude fight!!! but i guess i'll have to read the manga...
