Early Life
Song Hye Kyo (송혜교) was born on November 22 1981. However shortly after the birth, she had fallen ill. Her parents and doctors never thought she make it. Miraculously, she pulled through and her parents finally registared her birth in Feburary 26 1982.

Career
In 1996 when she was finishing her third year in junior high school, Song Hye Kyo's won the Grand Prize in Sun Kyung Smart, a school uniform company thus entering the entertainment industry by this. Soon after this, she started to appear in dramas and sitcoms, acting minor roles.

Her breakthrough came when she was casted the lead in KBS's hit drama, Autum Tale (also known as Autumn in my heart) in 2000. In this drama, Yun/Choi Eun Suh, a women who suffered many hardships from a young age after discovering that she was swapped at birth. Her portrayal of Yun/Choi Eun Suh won her many awards and raised her public profile across Asia.

Her popularity continued to increase after playing the lead role in the poker drama, All In. The drama was so popular that the title of the show itself entered everyday vocabulary in Korea. It was here when she met her two year boyfriend, Lee Byung Hun (her All In co-star). However shortly before she started filming her next drama, Full House, she suffered a painful break up with Byung-Hun. She often said that staring in Full House helped her massively emotionally and physically. Full House is a romantic comedy in which she co-stared with the famous Korean popstar, Rain. It was often rumoured that she was dating Rain but there is no current confirmation. They remained great friends and often supported each other.

After her debut film, My Girl and I, Song Hye Kyo went on a two years hiatus but came back to star in the film Hwang Jin-i. However this film did not perform well in the box office. She is a "hallyu" which refers to her popularity world wide.

Song Hye Kyo is now dating her World Within's co-star, Hyun Bin. The couple got together in June, 6 months after the drama ended.
