Lǜ Guāng Sēn Lín) is a Taiwanese drama miniseries released in 2005. Consisting of a total of 15 episodes, it was broadcast by the SET TV network. It stars Esther Liu, Leon Jay Williams, Ethan Ruan, and Song Zhi Ai. Esther Liu, who is also a professional singer and a member of the band Sweety, is the singer of the opening theme song.
The series is set around the (fictional) Royal Spencer Academy of Music. Sophie (Esther Liu) is a wealthy girl. Luoshan (Song Zhi Ai) is the daughter of Sophie's parents' chauffeur. When Luoshan's father dies in an accident while driving drunk, she is adopted by Sophie's family and takes the name Susan instead of Luoshan. Thereon, Susan plans to take whatever Sophie has.
As children, Sophie is best friends with Jing Yuan Fang (Ethan Ruan), who is in love with her. One day, at school, Sophie meets William (Leon Jay Williams), the heir to the Royal Spencer Academy. The two fall in love. However, William (and also Yuan Fang, for that matter) has to leave the next day for overseas; Sophie and William promise each other that they will come together again. Before leaving, William accidentally meets Sophie's sister and William, asks Sophie's name ( he didn't know her name then ) and instead of saying that her name is SOPHIE, she told William that the name of the girl is SUSAN (which is hers). So that day on, William thinks that it was SUSAN who he liked and not SOPHIE.
Years later, the four main characters all returned to the Royal Spencer Academy. William wants to find Sophie, but Susan fools William into thinking that the girl he knew was her rather than Sophie. Meanwhile, Sophie fails to recognize both William and Yuan Fang, who has now taken the name Owen and become a world-famous violinist.
Later on, Owen leads Sophie and William to find each other again. The truth was unfolded because of Sophie's symbol the letter "I"with a heart. But Susan doesn't gie up that easily and tells everyone that the engagement between her and William is still active even though William canceled it days and days ago making the situation worse. Susan also persuades Sophie and even acting that she looks miserable so Sophie will pity her. However, William still likes Sophie and continues being with her even though he was told not to by his mother and Susan. One night, William sings the song Forever and gets engaged to Sophie.
