Accompanied by one of the best soundtracks I've heard on a television drama, Soulmate is an in depth exploration of relationships and the connections that people have. With acting that is at times over-the-top corny and others poignant and real, the characters manage to accurately portray the entire range of emotions people feel in various situations and relationships in a way that will endear them to your heart and have you rooting for each and every one, even when you don't want to. It also asks the age old question, do soul mates exist? And if you met yours, would it actually make your love life better? Incredibly enjoyable, Soulmate will have you laughing, possibly crying, and perhaps reconsidering how you answer the question, do you believe in soul mates?
Soulmate had a very good beginning but it sped up too much near the end, and I found the ending a little disappointing. However, the show is very funny and romantic and has great music. I highly recommend this drama, if you want a good love story.

This drama is like no other. So compellingly unique in every way. Each character you feel as though is one of your dear friends, I suppose we find mannerisms in them all. Uncontrollably romantic, classically selected storyline, yet modern and hysterically a riot! We all have our favorite couple, and who we think should stay or get together ! Having found this drama and finished it makes me soooo sad, and wish there was another season! Everyone will fall in love with Soulmate! Do watch! You will not be disappointed.

Wow, I completely, fell in love with this drama in the first episode.
It's a funny and sad love story, and unexpected things happen.
I get so eager to watch more, like when an episode ends, I go, "NOOOO!!"
The music is fantastic! I'm in love with one song, but I'm not sure whats it called!
I seriously, would want you to keep watching this.
The characters are great, and so is the acting.
Magnifique.

My friend was asking advice for what drama she should watch and when I stumble on a certain link to Soulmate, I got very curious (or really bored). The small opening sequence was intriguing, having suddenly showing partially nude characters to me but the music covered up nicely. At first, I knew I was going to expect some sappy, typical, romance story to this drama and which I did, but I seriously couldn't ask for anything better.
The story/drama features 3 couples (with an additional, funny one), and at first, it seems like each couple has an interesting beginning and great start, having some of the characters already being friends with other main characters. As the story progresses however, they start to have problems in their relationships and the situation becomes worse when it involves the couples having arguments close enough to break them apart and partnering up with another person whom is already in a relationship. The scenes are usually switching from one couple to the next and back again like a cycle and yet, it does it so well to make everything fall into place so viewers can understand what's happening.
The music is, I think, the best feature of this drama. Especially a certain track from Lasse Lindh, a Swedish indie pop musician, that plays countless of times during the drama, and at the right moment, can actually leave you a little teary-eyed. I can't explain any further how good the soundtrack is, you'll just have to watch to know what I mean.
The characters are very descriptive and although it's constantly switching from person to person. having 6 main characters, I am able to understand (at times) where the perspective of character is coming from, and their overall persona. Having a show being entitled to find one destined to another, each character is different , harboring feelings and characteristics that excludes them from the rest. And for the actors who played them---I could not imagine anyone better for the role.
Overall, I recommend this to anyone who just basically wants to watch a romance drama, adding bits of intense drama, comedy, wonderful music to spice it up. Each episode ending makes you want to yearn for more. (Gosh, this is a long review)

This drama was great. Once you've managed to live past the first couple of episodes that is. It's such a drag at the begining :'-(
But it gets so good later on when the story everyone REALLY wants actually begins. And the music - oh god the music - is phenomenal! But overall the drama's a great watch, so don't give up on it.

Overall i heard that this show on 'Soulmate' is a very good show to watch and heard from the others that its a very funny show to watch. So far i rate in 'Overall' is a 4 star this is because even though i havent seen it before but would like to comment on this show i would say a 4. With great storyline, an excellent music, characters and acting are great. There's not much to say about this show but having this i think for this show, having an effort that the characters are trying to put in and the effort that they had no matter if its good or not they have had tried with their best of their abilities to perform a great show like this in 'Soulmate.'
So far, as i have already said, I haven't seen this show before, i would like to comment on this show is 8 and half out of 10. Good effort guys. Keep it up the good work in working in this show.

Soulmate revolves around a group of strangers who somehow happen to be intertwined with eachother, can it be fate? Like a mid summer's night dream everyone is in love with the wrong people, but they're too lost in love to figure it out... or is it love? Who really belongs with who? And when they meet their soulmate, will they know? will they accept? will it be like a real-life fairytale?
I thought it was funny and still had the romance sense to it. the story was ok, i'm glad it didn't end in the typical "happily ever after" scenario. the cliffhanger was driving me insane though (: in a good way. The characters were real and all, but some were just freaky, or annoying. overlooking that it was hard to tell which was the main until half way through the series.
The acting was lovely. i could feel the emotion portrayed through the monitor.
It's a good romance comedy drama ^^

I've only recently in the last two years become very much interested in Korean romance series and films since being able to access them through crunchyroll.com and this is easily the best I've seen so far. I am planning to buy the series on DVD in the near future and eagerly hope that they will revisit the characters in a further series or film so that we can catch up with their lives. Even though the ending is a little open-ended (a bit like real life really) and leaves you wanting more, I would strongly recommend this series to other viewers as being a very honest and revealing story of the complicated turns that love can take in the lives of a group of people. I found myself completely engaged by the characters portrayed. The music is perfectly done. I really can't find anything to fault except that I want to know what happens next!

I'll be honest, when i first began to watch this show i thought:
"Eh..another show about people falling in love and being destined for each other."
But after having watched the complete series i must tell you that i have fallen in love with this show! I truly do love it, the characters are all so seperate in the beginning and i just loved how they all came together in the end. They all grew so much as well.
So, before you begin watching this, please take the time to read this review and know that this show is so awesome and so addicting! I promise that you will love it and i myself have cried along with the characters because it is just that touching.
Also!: the music on there is good! Really, it is. But my two favorite songs from the show would have to be the opening song: "This is Not a Love Song" and "C'mon Through".
So please, enjoy the show!
