Space Runaway Ideon

It is far future when human beings begin to emigrate in the universe, Buff Clans, who are aliens, come to the planet, Solo, to look for inexhaustible energy “Ide”, then they met the immigrants from the Earth. Misunderstanding each other, the war breaks out. The immigrants use the relic of the alien civilization to escape into the space. They are three machines that combine together and turn into "Ideon", a large robot more than 100m tall. Also, space ship is there. The truth is that "Ide" exists inside the relics.

The main character, Yuki Cosmo, displays a white flag to show that he won’t fight. However, in Buff Clan’s society, a white flag means “I’ll kill you”.

The anime was discontinued at the middle of the story because of unpopularity. To reply to the audience request, two movies were made to settle the story.
