Kangin Changes His Outlook on Women and Marriage



Things are looking up for Super Junior member Kangin who will be starring in his first leading role for Zero Flawed Task Force drama which will air over MBC Dramanet (cable channel) starting 14th February. In a press conference for the drama on the 5th, Kangin revealed that his perspective of women has changed since being paired with actress Lee Yoon Ji on MBC We Got Married.

Kangin explained, “Usually I would go for appearances when I date the opposite sex. But after being on We Got Married, I will first consider her financial status and how our next generation might look like.”

Kangin added, “I have just returned from my honeymoon in Japan (as seen in the pictures) for We Got Married. Since our concept was a frugal college couple, I really had to rack my brains to make our honeymoon feel alright instead of a badly done one (cheapskate). In the past, I would have wanted to get married as soon as possible. But there are actually many things to consider so I would think twice now plus there’s a lot of things that I still need to learn.”

Kangin ended, “It’s a reality that marriage cannot be sustained purely with just love. While mutual respect is a must, each party must also accomodate each other’s requirements before getting married and then live happily ever after.”

Super Junior and SHINee takes Thailand by storm



SM Entertainment artistes Super Junior, Jang Ri In and SHINee met up with fans over in Thailand.

They were in Thailand Bangkok Siam Centre outdoors part on 6th February for ‘SM Town Live 2009 in Thailand’ press conference, which saw more than 70 media representatives and 13,ooo fans present at the event.

A SM representative said, “Because of the high volume of fans turn-up at the event, traffic and human flow is very heavy in the subway, the mall and even in the area. We even had a huge screen up at the outdoors park to relay the press conference live for the huge number of fans.”

News on SJ-M for Pepsi



translation:
Super Junior-M and Lee Jun Ki have become Pepsi China’s new spokespeople

[following two lines are stuff about not typing out the translation from korean to chinese straight and crediting them rightfully]

SJ-M will become worldwide drink Pepsi’s spokespeople in China, bringing out the charm of Korean stars.

SJ-M landed in Thailand on the 2nd of February (note: the journalist inaccurately wrote Taiwan in the original news article, but the translator has thus corrected it), and joined forces with Lee Jun Ki to film a CF there as spokespeople. Up till now, Pepsi China have had Rain and Lee Jun Ki etc, representatives of Korean stars, adopted as their spokespeople. From this choice of new spokespeople, it can be seen that Super Junior has risen in rank to become a representative of Korean stars. This particular CF sees a sub-group of SJ, SJ-M taking part in the filming.

As planned, this CF will have a version with LJK and SJ-M, a version with LJK and a Taiwan songstress [they didn't say who], another version with SJ-M and a Taiwan songstress, and so on. At the same time, like how LJK currently is the face of Pepsi Cola in China, SJ will come to be familiar and known because of this.

KoreanTimes published an article ( in Jan.) about how 2009 will be about idol groups and Super Junior, of course, was included~

Super Junior, the 13-member pop group, saw some of its members branching out here and also abroad through smaller “units” like Super Junior-T, Super Junior-Happy, Super Junior-M and Super Junior-K.R.Y, but this year will see all of the members getting together as one whole group.

“We think we show our best performances when we are all working together. We will show everyone what Super Junior has in store this year, all together,” the members said at a recent press conference before their concert scheduled for this month.

3 ALBUM UPDATE


SuJu celebrated their 1200th day on February 17 and while talking about this on SuKiRa, Eunhyuk mentioned that SuJu had FINISHED the 3rd album photoshoot!!! It won't be long until the 3rd album comes out. It looks like for once, an album is actually being released when they said it was going to be released... March :)

The Second Album - Don’t Don (Japan Version)

Jacket A and Jacket B of the Japanese version of “Don’t Don” are both available on YesAsia and CD Japan for PreOrder (release date February 25, 2009). It’s basically the Korean album with a few added bonuses and with a new Japanese version of Marry U.

1. Yesung graduated from Chungwoon University (not exactly sure on the exact date, but probably the 16th or 17th? )

SJ 3rd Album Rumors-Update

Here is just a little rumor-update: (nothing has been confirmed yet)



So if didnt already know, SJ did their album photoshoot already (according to Eunhyuk), so that’s the reason for Shindong’s hair change (everyone is guessing, but imwondering why hasnt the other members changed their hairstyle?)

The album is rumored to be on March 17, SJM ended their promotions.

According to fans(+sources+leeteuk), the members have recently been going to dance practices….^^

(so that means, SJM is back in Korea)

Fans are still wondering what the new “concept” of the album is (if it’s sexy, i hope it’s DBSK Mirotic SEXY~).

Anyways, the time is getting closer…..so excited!
