To Love-Ru

The story begins with runaway princess Lala Satalin Deviluke winding up in Yuuki Rito's bathtub naked due to one of her inventions.
From this point, the story advances with Lala telling the shocked Rito that she is from the planet Deviluke and that
she ran away because she didn't like any of her suitors. After a run-in with the Royal Guard from Deviluke, Lala explains to Rito that
none of her suitors tried to understand her feelings, none of them listened to her, which is why she likes Rito, because even though
she was from another planet, he didn't judge her, he listened to her story and even protected her. Following these events, Rito is seen walking to school with the girl he's had a crush on for a long time, Haruna Sairenji. At this point, he tries to tell her that he's "Liked her ever since that moment.", but as he blurts the words out, Lala appears infront of him, thinking the words were for her, she tells him that she feels the same way. Rito eventually finds out that he's engaged to Lala in the way of her people. Devilukean customs are different from that of Earth's and not understanding this, Rito asks how that's possible. Lala explains that he placed his hands on her boobs, stared passionately into her eyes and told her he loves her. From here on, Rito's Love Troubles begin as he soon becomes the envy of all the guys in the school and judged by several other characters, mainly Yui Kotegawa, the school's council representative.

Personally, I enjoyed the majority of the storyline.
If you're looking for an anime that's like Highschool of the Dead, filled with anime chicks with big boobs, drama, romance and comedy then I highly recommend this one. Although being an Ecchi/Harem type anime, it is still excellent. I suggest watching the first few episodes to really get a feel for the storyline if your feelings on Ecchi are neutral. If you hate Ecchi, well then, you shouldn't even be reading this review. In any case, the storyline quickly becomes addictive as more and more characters enter the picture and Rito's love troubles increase. The most notable of these characters is Zastin, the captain of The Devilukean Royal Guard, who initially disapproves of Rito but then approves of him after his statement about marriage. Zastin is seen several times throughout the storyline visiting the Yuuki residence, usually visiting for Mikan's cooking. As Zastin and Lala are from Deviluke, Rice is a delicacy for them and thus they practically worship it. Zastin, not being able to get enough of it, Is usually seen with Mikan eating a bowl of it or drinking Tea, another delicacy to himself and Lala. Despite Zastin's skill with the sword, he has a horrible sense of Direction, often resulting in him becoming lost.

I recently re-watched this anime. When I first watched it, I did not really like it. I wanted to punch several characters in the face for their stupid choices. T_T
But after watching it over and over, I became attached with them and figured why they choice those decisions. T_T
The references on here are quite obvious but are really enjoying to watch.

Though don't expect the ending to be great at the end of this season. Its almost like a cliffhanger.

This one is a simple harem/sci-fi/ecchi but an awesome and the most hilarious anime! Really, if u wanna laugh, watch this!

Personally, I think some girls should try watching some ecchi - they usually don't have much explicit but are very funny. Like the "American Pie" movie (but with various themes).
But if you decide for this one, and want more laugh and less fanservice, please watch the anime, dont read manga.

As the first few episodes of very most of the animes are quite boring, these are as funny as hell, and some of the most interesting in the entire anime.

Anime is full of "epic falls", so to say, as it always comes to some situations when Rito and (a) girl(s) fall and on that way gets lucky against his own will.


I think character personalization and design is awesome so i rated it with 5 stars. And I don't wanna spoil your fun so I'm not telling you the story.

The most important characters:

Yuuki Rito is a shy boy crazily in love with Haruna-chan and who lost all the elements of peaceful life the same moment when Lala-chan appeared. As a result of that, he got a, so to say, harem (that he doesnt consciously want). Oh yeah he is very shy and I know what all guys think they'd do on that place - but the reason Rito-kun has a "harem" lies in his shyness. As Momo-chii said in "To Love-Ru Darkness", all of the guys are dirty but him, and thats why she loves him. In other words: if Rito-kun looses his shame, To Love-Ru meets it's once and for all. And he still didn't get the man's "immunity to girls".

Lala Satalin Deviluke is a Devilukian alien-girl. She's smart but pretty weird and loves making new inventions that always turn out to mess something up. She got used to living as a princess so that she had servants to dress her up, bather her... And as a result of that, she's completely shameless when it comes to appear naked in front of other people, but however, she's a good, innocent and happy girl, although very troublesome. She didn't fell for rito in the beginning, but the moment she understood that he understands how she feels (and hes also good and shy). But however, as she's been considered the most beautiful girl in the universe, a plenty of aliens are trying to kidnap her!

Haruna Sairenji is a cute and shy girl that goes in the same school as Rito-kun. Her worst fears are ghosts and monsters in general, and she's easy 2 get scared, but then she gets extremely dangerous. As Rito-kun is crazily in love with her, she's in love with him too. But since Lala-chan's appearal the love triangle was formed and caused problems with those two forming a serious relationship. BTW she gets involved with all of the situations.

Zastin is an idiot...

Yuuki Mikan is Rito-kun's sister. She's quite young and seems to be completely OK with the situation.

And these are the most important characters - don't forget to watch the anime because there are more of them that are awesome as well!

Don't expect much of a plot - although all of the episodes are connected with characters and the "cause", every episode has a new funny plot. Anime episodes seem little more "connected" than manga chapters.

If ure getting annoyed by fog, watch uncensored/polished version - but don't expect much explicit.

The new manga of To Love-Ru has recently been released and chapters are still progressing: "To Love-Ru Darkness"
It's less about Lala and Haruna (I dont care, i got bored of them) but gets some new characters and contains a plenty of uncensored and awesome fanservice (that u cant find often). But besides, it has the best plot ever.
I strongly recommend you reading it. I don't rlly recommend it to girls because it's "much more ecchi" than regular anime/manga releases.

Yea, like I will say. This anime is very unique in a way of speaking.

An naked alien princess land into your tub, and next day you end up hooked to be married.

Yet, he is a shy boy but soon to be stuck from a no body to a famous kid.

It may seem short, but there more of this to the manga , if u finish the anime tho.

Don't take my word on it, take a look, u may like what u see!

A soon to be all time greatest, To Love-Ru has a great storyline, and the plot unfolded flawlessly, which has not been something many Manga and Anime has been able to do.

The stories drawing and animation, is one of the best yet, and the crew chosen to voice it cannot be any better, matched with great music and characters, Saki has created one of the best Titles yet.

The storyline has constant romance, mixed with humor and ecchi at the exact right level, with great control of how the story is going, the author never let it go out of hand, although the ending in the manga seemed rushed.

To Love-Ru is a great title, and is recomended for teens, its constant humor will releave your stress and the ecchi in it will spark your brain!

I just wanted to say that To Love-Ru has been a great manga through and through! The storyline is a little dry, however the plot and characters bring it to life, making every chapter hilarious and kinky. Personally i would have chosen Lala as the gril of my love, but in the end the author gives us the most spectacular ending ever! Since he couldn't make up his mind over who he loves the most, he chooses polygamey subconsciously which I give a standing ovation! Plus it was Lala that wanted it to be and it was the fact that Rito is the emperor of the universe FTW!

Thank you Saki Hasemi for the brilliant akward situations that arouses my ecchi side and farewell to the manga which finished it last chapter at 162!

To Love-Ru is a really good Anime with lots of Comedy, Romance and Echii Things =3
The Story, Characters and Story is really good too so i don't know why some plp might not like it :P

This anime is about Yuki Rito a normal high school student who had a crush on a girl who he can't even confess too ( lol ) but then his life changes when he meets Lala an alien ........... Later more and more girls fall for him which made it a problem for him >.< I wish something like that happened to me .......T.T

So anyway watch it ......... unless you don't like echii stuff -.-
