I forgot to review this as soon as I finished the show so it's been a while.

First off I'd like to say that this show fostered an interest in fashion and the world surrounding it.
I found a new respect for designers and all of the work they go through.
It seems more difficult than I thought before.

Secondly I would like to say that this show did a good job of sticking to the plot.
There were subplots as are present in any show, but most seemed relevant.

Once the complicated love between Lin Lai Sui and Ji Feng Liang was finally established, their jealous love story was always in the background. But it generally connected with events in Lin Lai Sui's journey to the top and always helped to strengthen their relationship.
I thought that the Gan Li Sha subplot was completely irrelevant. However, the Lu Yi Mi and Guang Xi (yay!) subplots were better done and more relevant. I confess I'm a big fan of Guang Xi.

I thought the music was really catchy and fit the scenes pretty well, and the characters were all lovable (even if unbelievable), especially Guang Xi. =]
This drama is recommended to anyone who is already interested in any of the actors or actresses and anyone who is interested in fashion. It's not a good one to begin with if you want to learn Chinese, but it's a good one for vocab supplementation.

A Taiwanese drama starring my favorite celebs.... Wu Zun and Ariel Lin.

I love them both here!

The drama that doesn't only involves love.... but also FASHION! (awesome!)

Never thought that a guy would actually look good holding pin cushion...stitching clothes... making fabulous outfit! LOL~

A drama with a lot of sweet moments and "I wish he's my guy " or "I wish my bf would do that to me" thoughts! ^_^

Beautiful twist on Romeo and Juliet. I really enjoy the plot, characters, and not to mention the fashion in this series. Set in the fashion industry, you would expect it to have great fashion, and Tokyo Juliet does not let you down. The love story itself is a bit different then most dramas, in that they find love quickly. Both people are devoted to each other, and instead are constantly battling outside conflicts. Just when you are confident in their success, another obstacle shows itself. Overall, a great drama, with only a couple, "how could you be so stupid?" moments.
