It has a light feel for an anime. Although you'll have a hint of what it's all about, the story gives a spin-off of events that could make you crave for more.
The characters where well thought of. Making the lead guy look like a delinquent with a soft spot for household chores is shocking but admirable. Their personality and how they mature as the story progresses makes it even more interesting.
Opening and ending songs were great. I love music and I don't know how to review music that well. But the opening and ending songs will defiantly catch your attention with the upbeat rhythm and catchy lyrics.

ToraDora has been the best anime i have watched so far with no regrets and skipping episodes.
Yes the story may be a bit obvious but you know its a awsome anime from the beginning till the end.
the main Characters Taiga and Ryuji are very adorable and are the main focus which i love because i hat animes where the main characters are no the centre of attention.
People say the story line is not that good and i have to agree on that but the characters make up for it and i would say the storyline pulls you in because you want to see what happens between the characters.

ToraDora! is one of the best anime i have seen in a very long time. I don't usually watch dramatic anime that involves romance or but this sparked my attention and i started watching. After the first 10 mins, i was sucked into the anime and didn't stop watching until the end of episode 25. This anime made me smile, laugh, cray and feel all warm and fuzzy inside. I highly recommend this anime to everyone.

I'm not one to big big into romance shows, but for some reason this got me hooked I laughed I cried and I kept wanting to see more and more every episode. Some parts are a bit cliche and predictable but I was willing to look over those few parts because this show is one of the few to keep me smiling the whole way through. And on top of that the animation was spot on! By the end you'll feel some sort of connection to the characters and want more

I know I did.

Toradora is a light-novel series created by "Yukuko Takemiya" and was published in March 10th 2006 until March 10th 2010. The anime adaptation was picked up by "J.C.Staff" and aired from September 2008 and May 2009. This anime Is Fully Licensed by NISA, and is still currently selling the DVD box-sets at their official site. If You really want to support the show I suggest you buy it while you can. This anime is very well done, beautifully animated and just overall good to look at, there where a few drops in "quality" here and there but nothing that can't be forgiven for the over arching story and characters. I found each character in this show to be unique with there own back ground and history, there was a nice level of character depth to every single one an shows how good characterization can be done over time.
This anime is another slice of series, but this time around it is a romance comedy/drama. so while again that might drive-away some "western fans" this is a show that should not be missed by any means. The story is about "Ryuji Takasu" A 17 year old high school kid who is often mistaken for delinquent because of the way he looks, he has a inherit disorder on his eyes called "Sanpaku" which distorts how normal eyes are suppose to look and it's also funny due to the fact that Ryuji is "obsessive compulsive" and cannot for the life him stand dirt and grime.. The main male lead has a crush on a girl in his class named "Minori Kushieda" who is an above average high school girl, with really good grades plays on the school softball team and has been on his mind for a long time but never had the courage to tell her how he fells. Ryuji gets into a bit of fight with the other main female lead "Taiga Aisaka", better known around the school as the "PalmTop Tiger" because of her short temper and stature she easily snaps at anybody and doesn't take crap from no one.
Once they are done with their little fight he mistakenly finds a love a love letter in his bag that Taiga was suppose to give the last main male lead "Kitamura Yūsaku", a smart all around well loved guy that is the "vice president on the student council" and when Ryuji gets home he takes the envelope out to read but to his surprise, there is nothing in letter "it seems miss taiga is bit of an air-head". Ryuji decides to go to bed after his ordeal that day but later that night he is attacked by Taiga "a typical tsundere reaction" by swinging a kendo sword breaking stuff and so forth, Ryuji calms Taiga down and He tells her that there is nothing in the envelope and she has a bit of break-down. The two come to terms and deiced to help each other by hooking them up with the person that they like.
Now most of you can probably see where this going to go, you have to be a person with an IQ of 50 not to figure it out, so yeah I would spoil more of this series but that's no fun It ruins the point in watching the show in the first place. I have given you the basic set up for the plot and you will have to go from there if you truly want to see this show then I recommend buying the dvd's while you can from "NISA STORE" It might be a little pricey but hell things could be a lot worse in life. This is probably the best romance/comedy/drama anime that I have ever seen and I just recommend to anybody that likes that sorta of thing. I give this anime 5/5 and hope there is more to come later down the road. This show as of now is available to stream on "anime news network" the first 4 episodes are free, but you have to pay to stream the rest.

When I first started Toradora, I thought the plot seemed simple enough. Tasku, the incorrectly judged delinquent, and Taiga, a small and ferocious girl, join forces to chase after their crushes, Kusheida and Kitamura respectively. At first, it seems that this anime is filled with comedy and laughs, but you soon realize that it's quite heart-wrenching as well. Although it's obvious that Tasku and Taiga fall for each other, it doesn't make it any less sweeter when their true feelings start to surface. Of course, even though this anime is all about the romance, it never ceases to amuse you and I can't even count the number of times I laughed out loud because of their crazy antics. Toradora is a wonderful anime that made my eyes tear, my stomach churn, and my heart beat in joy til the very end. It's an adorable story with great characters that you come to love (no matter how violent they seem to get). I would recommend this anime to anyone who loves a good romance. Toradora will DEFINITELY not disappoint.

-The title simply states my initial feelings for the anime-
ToraDora! is a Romantic/Comedy genre based anime, and once again I want to stress that it is among some of the very best inside of it's genre. My review is just going to go over a lot of the simple things that make this anime in my opinion so great, and hopefully convince some people out there to experience that same story I sat through.
Storyline: 5/5
The story of Toradora revolves around a comedic group of students from the class 2-C at Oohashi High School. The main cast revolving around Ryuuji Takasu, Yūsaku Kitamura, Minori Kushieda, Taiga Aisaka, and Kawashima Ami. There are many other supporting characters that are lovable as well! Without giving any spoilers, the entire story revolves around a bunch of love triangles between various characters, with characters developing throughout the story. The story will definitely make you shed tears at various parts and draws you into each characters life and development as if you were there. the one thing that makes this anime stand out over other animes in the same genre is that this anime has closure! Yes Closure! Many animes of this genre tend not to have closure and have the guy and the girl not together in the end or still working towards up, but none the less they leave the audience wondering what happened to the couple after the series is over. However, that's one thing that makes this anime great is that it is different and it will leave you with one of the most satisfying feelings in the world when the final episode finishes. This being the reason that I have watched the final episode countless times (probably around 14 or so).
Music/Audio: 5/5
Most people can agree these days that the majority of animes have very well planned openings and endings, giving the anime an overall good music score. However, many of them lack an internal soundtrack helping creating good moods inside the anime. I don't do this often, but right after finishing the series, i purchased the soundtrack for Toradora. The Music for every mood, every scene, was just beautiful and really know how to make you either excited and pumped up or start to tear up as something big is about to happen. I don't give many animes a 5 on music, but this anime deserves this.
Characters: 5/5
Simply... your going to fall in love with the cast of characters, not just the main characters either; many supporting characters are some of the funniest and well planned out roles in the series. No two characters are alike in this series, everyone has their own personalities and traits that your going to love and hate. Furthermore, each character fits perfectly into each role, you know sometimes you can just imagine the type of person that would play certain roles and what they should look like. Well huzzah, they do a dang good job of giving each character a good role!
Animation: 5/5
The one thing that I am most nit picky on about watching animes, and I know this part may seem bad to some people but it's just how I am. Watching countless series of animes, I always seem to avoid series that don't tend to animation style that i like, even if the story may be good, or it may be a top rated main stream anime, i'll avoid it do to my inability to cope with the animation. However, Toradora is definitely beautifully designed in every aspect. Action motion scenes that seem like they would come out of a high end anime, and design schemes that are just beautiful. Each character is well drawn as well, and no person it out of proportion or anything, it's like something straight from the real world put onto paper. No over the top animations either, everything is down to earth, simple, clean, and well drawn. ASCII did an amazing job on this series.
Finishing notes: Hope my review helped some of you interested in this anime, I just put whatever came to me when thinking about it! I hope you get the chance to watch it and experience the same story that I went though!
Also if you did like my review, I'd really like to have your feedback on it considering I want to start doing mass reviews on animes/games i have experienced. Thanks for Reading my review!
