He clearly wants the best for Yuuki, but he is also struggling to comprehend Kaname's motives. It doesn't help that he entrusted Yuki to the person he's now skeptical of... The chairman simply doesn't know what's best for his adopted daughter anymore.. As a result, he seems rather lost; at least, in my opinion. ;;
