Okay I really loved this anime! but I disliked the ending... >3> I mean I totally liked zero with the main girl better than her own brother... I mean it was a great anime just a bad ending thats all
Though thats not the only thing, I didn't like that her brother was rude and soooooo just bad and she accepted him T^T. I really hated that! I just.. no... T^T
But after that the anime was the best! I just loved it. I didn't like it when she became a vampire, but I liked the plot and stuff.
One of the first anime's I ever watched. I will admit i get a bit weird at times and very confusing! You have to watch it from start to end to really understand it, there are lots of details you need to know to understand it.
The storyline is very interesting and always makes you want to watch more. It does get confusing at times but sooner or later it gets explained.
There were no particular characters that I liked, most of the characters came across as annoying at times but then again that's just me.
The two seasons of Vampire Knight were about 24 episodes all together so it was nice and short but lot's happen in just one season.
The reason why I only gave this 3 stars out of 5 is because the ending was not the best ending the writers could have created (unless you're into cliffhangers). Wether or not they wanted the viewers to imagine what they think happened after the show finishes, I always prefer an epilogue. Although this show can be quite G rated and have funny moments there is some really mature content in the show and I wouldn't advise anyone younger than 12 to watch it. I didn't fall in love with the show but I'm glad I watched it.
The plot of this seasion leaves off where the first season ends. With more twists and turns that really makes your head spin so fast you will go dizzy. There was more revelations over the past of the charecters and the history they share. And the ending? A real eye opener that will make you say "What the?"
All in all id give this a 8 out of ten. Reason for the loss of two points were that the story to me didnt grab me as much as the first season did. To me tehre was just that something that was missing that was in season 1. And I wished I could get more of a feel for the background of the world this anime was set in. I felt you saw and had more of a feel in season 1 for this than you did in season 2
Yuuki starts to remember parts of her forgotten past. and wants to find out about her real family. As she begins to unravel the secrets that where hidden from her to protect her, she must choose between Kuran Kaname, the one she owes her life to, or Kiryuu Zero, whom she has always wanted to protect
Why did I enjoy it?-I enjoyed this season better than the last because this one had a bit more action. It was a real nail bitter. \because there was more romance. I think ever fan would get disappointed seeing the words 'I'll also show you a sweet dream next night'.
What didnt I enjoy?- I didnt enjoy how the season ended. It feels like an unfinished story. Hopefully a season 3 will come out to finish it off. They must have out thought into the story because everything seemed to go together it tied on from Season 1.
My faveourite character and couple- My favourite character would have to be Rima Touya. She is not a main character but is seen a lot in this season. Rima is extremely pretty and is very close friends with Senri Shiki. They are not an 'item' but are seen together throughout the series. This is my favourite couple.
My least favourite character- I dont have a least favourite couple but my least favourite character would be Kaname Kuran. He admits in the end that he used the Night Class students as 'pawns'. He tends to have romantic feelings for main character Yuuki Cross. To me at times he came across as 'creepy'. He appears out of the blue at times, and very sly.
Animation - Good animation but a bit disappointment to the detail about Zero's new power after fusing with Ichiru and a bit thankful that it's not exaggerated.
Characters - Like what I had said from my other review on the first season, it's good about the change in the character and had taken the liking of the new Yuuki, the pureblood princess but the problem is that they went too quick.
Music - Same comment with my first review. Not much of a change.
Storyline - Still lack of fillers but it's a bit of an okay on that part since this season, it seems to be more serious. The plot on the second is serious because it's already about the protagonist, Yuuki. It already revolved onto the actual main problem. But the plot is good just rushed.
Overall - This is what I call a 'so-so' average but seeing that I gave a different rating, it's just I'm still rating based on the characters and to be frank, I love all those bishie boys. ^^
My final comment as an avid watcher or viewer: A one big clap for this season. Do I need to say more?
it's one of my favorites really interesting,if your looking for love triangle/vampire story then this is for you
the story revolves around the students of the Cross Academy, which is divided into the Day Class for humans, and the Night Class for Vampires. The main characters, Zero and Yuki, both have very sad pasts; Zero had his family killed by a vampire, and Yuki's first memory was a vampire attacking her. These pasts, which are revealed fairly early in the series, make a good base for their relationship and their emotional struggles, the night class students has a secret that can't be revealed to the day class students the secret is them being vampires

Yuki Cross's earliest memory is of a snowy night in winter when she was attacked by one vampire, but saved by another: Kaname Kuran. Yuki is the adopted daughter of the Headmaster of Cross Academy, Kaien Cross, and has grown up and become a prefect for the school with one main purpose: for vampires to coexist peacefully with humans . Her fellow guardian, Zero Kiryu, a childhood companion whose parents were killed by a pure-blood vampire, is now determined to kill them all and refuses to trust them. Through a cruel twist of fate, Zero becomes a vampire himself, having been bitten by pure-blood vampire, Shizuka Hio, four years before. Now Yuki must help him fight his curse, as well as recover the lost memories of her past, and discover why Kaname, who leads the group of Night class at Cross Academy as their President, saved her that night and what deep dark secret he is keeping from her.
Everybody!!!...watch this anime and you'll love it FOREVER!!...
