This is honestly the best drama I've ever seen. It's cute, funny, and touching. The characters are well thought-out and fit perfectly in the plot, they have a lot of depth and plenty of development. There is however some logic to the development, and their actions can be explained naturally (i.e. they don't feel artificially planted into the script). The acting is also spectacular, it really conveys their emotions, the actors literally 'melt' into their roles.
The story may start out in a similar fashion as series such as "I Really Really Like You", but that's where the similarities end, this one is way better plot-wise and also in the way that it is delivered.
This show is hilarious, don't get me wrong, but it's also very moving and will make you both laugh and cry, as well as love or hate the characters.
Enjoy!
This is one of my favorite K-Dramas! It's such a nice story. It contains sad moments but at the same time it's full of happy moments. I got attached since the beginnig! The chemistry between the main characters was great, that's why they managed to create a good atmosphere that made the viewers enjoy the serie. Kim Rae Won is sooooo handsome and Jung Ryu Won is pretty, so they made a nice couple!!!! The only thing I didn't like that much was the fact that Jung Ryu Won interpret both characters (Hye-rim/ Hye-soo).
This was such a good show that I had to write a review.
It was touching and funny in all the right ways. The lead characters had such chemistry that makes shows like this a true success. The storyline really pulls your heartstrings. Its different from what Ive seen and I felt for the characters every step of the way. Who can help what their hearts feel?
This is truly a show that you shouldnt miss. Its got a great cast and wonderful acting that breaks your heart at time how good it is. One thing I really loved, was that it wasnt drawn out, each episode accomplished something and led to something new. All in all, I would recommend this to anyone. Even if your not looking for a romantic story, youll still be drawn in from the first episode!!
Enjoy!!

This drama, What Planet Are You From(WPAYF), began much like another 2006 drama I Really Really Like You, at first I thought this was just another story about a country girl won over by Seoul and a handsome guy, and while that maybe part of it, WPAYF brings way more to the table. But unlike many dramas, especially I Really Really Like You, WPAYF is really fast paced-- they didn't doddle in the details, the get right down to the story and you can hardly wait to find out what's next. The acting was really great, the characters fit very well with the actors, and the chemistry between Kim BokShil and Choi SeungHee was outstanding they really complimented each other well. The story was coherant, nothing stoodout as being totally unrealistic, well maybe one thing(but that's the surprise).
I certianly didn't expect to like this WPAYF nearly as much as I did from all the wiki entries I'd read, but I was proven wrong. WPAYF blipped on my radar a few times before but I'd figured I wouldn't fancy something that had such a serious aspect to its premise(the death of a lover). The writers/directors were able to be sensitive and still make a wholly entertaining show.
This drama is definitely worth a shot, you'll be hooked in no time. WPAYF delivers both laughs and tears, but isn't too over the top. I'd 100% recomend WPAYF to anyone who liked I Really Really Like You, Goong, and Let's Go to the Beach.
